Magic Mike IM Guerillas Elite IM Membership

Have any IM Guerillas members heard anything from Magic Mike recently?

I have not heard from him all week while he was supposedly working to get his traffic driving system up and running. However, as far as I can see, the traffic from him dropped to zero in the last few days, not to mentioned the zero conversion from since started. I shoot him email about this but got no reply.

Also, where is his membership site promised months ago?

Would like to know if anyone heard anything from him recently.

He has gone into hiding and has also been banned on the WF here. The more I look into Michael Cioppa, the worse it gets. He has scammed so many people in the passed and has also spent time in Prison due to bad dealings in his very shady past.

I too was a member of the Elite100 and have heard nothing from him in over a week now. He is not responding to anyone's emails and as you know has given no updates and just let this so called best traffic system in the world, just die. He has also locked the forum on us trying to stop us from corresponding with each other. He has taken all our money and run. We need to come together as one and get a lawsuit against him, I for one wanna see this scam artist go back to prison where he belongs.....

I would say there will be over 100 other people also opening a dispute to Paypal on this matter like you and I have. I have no doubt there will be a Major Lawsuit going to be taking place, he has screwed over way to many people. And once the Law catches up to him yet again he will be sent straight back to prison for yet again scamming people! Once a crim always a crim! I just wished I had read all this Information about him before I got scammed. I really trusted that being a WSO on here and many people saying he is very trust worthy that I took the risk not feeling worried about it. Was he under many names on here using that to build trust with people??

But this past week I have done a lot of Investigation about this guy and I was totally stunned, he is a Career Criminal and Ex Con and has screwed 1000's of people out of there hard earned money!!!!

wow, I really didn't know that. I mean does it really pay for him to get let's say, $10,000 from us but risk to get back to jail? It makes somehow no sense to me...

Btw, don't forget to cancel the subscription to his eh, "service"

Now I wonder how much he paid for people to leave positive comment on his thread.

At the beginning I really thought he knows his stuff about IM, even with his crappy looking temporary site. Then weeks after weeks I start to realise this guy his no plan or timeframe on his work. Then a month past, and I don't know what he has done, besides his so called "traffic machine" thing which is generating garbage.

Already opened a dispute with paypal, hopefully can get my capital back.

I think Magic Mike is gone, but I still have a tiny amount of hope that he might do the right thing. His friend Michael Esposito (mikeyespo on WF) says that "Mike is dealing with a serious health issue in the family." Hmmm. Even if that is true (and I am not sure I believe it), it doesn't excuse Mike's behaviour. Really, how hard is it to send an email saying "My mother is dieing (or whatever) and I need to suspend the program until this plays out." Even then, the internet is everywhere in the world and a 6 figure earning, 17 year IMer, can surely figure out how to conduct at least some business (or send an email) while attending to family issues. What is he doing, holding his Mom's hand 24x7 in an African jungle? I hope that wasn't too insensitive.

I can't believe that everybody is so surprised by all of this. I did the research on Mike and shared it to the WSO, but my posts were being deleted. So I posted it here:

Magic Mike's IM Guerillas Elite Membership - An Honest Review - Twirlie.com.au

Mike's self-admitted con-man, criminal, and convict history, rip-off report details, etc. was available for all to see, if you took the time to do your homework. Did anyone notice that MM only registered on WF in Oct 2012? How can a guy be in IM for 17 years and only be on WF a year ago? Did anyone look at his house? Does this look like the house of a retired internet 6 figure earner?

      https://maps.google.ca/maps?q=22+Kee...ZY4Du6gqeWAaDg

The biggest whiner I have ever seen in my life was raywarrioir1978 who took no personal responsibility for buying into this scheme without doing his research. The bottom line here is that it was always a gamble that Mike would deliver and his actions certainly indicated that he would NOT. But many people were charmed by numbers like $5-10K per month and their greed got in the way of common sense judgement. Con-men tap into people's greed to con them and that is probably what happened here.

So you bought into a scheme where some ex-con on the internet posing as a retired IM guru charges you $97 + $17-27 per month (depending when you got in) and leads you to believe that he will make you $5-10K/month without you doing anything but provide links to an offer. And give you access to a cutting edge members site. Nobody should be surprised that it didn't com true.

So what now? Mike has been banned from WF, but he can always resurface with a different name. At least one member has filed a claim with PayPal and won, but Mike cleaned out his PP account, so their is no recourse there. You can file a rip-off report, which might warn others. Perhaps a US citizen can file a complaint with the FBI. His details are:

      name: Michael Cioppa
address: 22 Keeler Drive, Albany NY
      home phone:
      (518) 377-5454
      skype: imgeurillas

      Lots of emails and websites.

Thank you Mike for those thoughts. It's 100% my fault that I have been scammed. What was I thinking when I bought into his sugar-coated BS without doing any checks on his background or experience. It's funny cos there were atleast 3-4 warriors vouching for the guy in his threads all the time. These guys still have WSO's running in this forum.Shame on them.

I was scammed by a phillipino guy here on WF for 147$ 2 years back and now scammed by this "Magic" Mike here for 77$. Am truly sorry for people if they lost more in this scam.

          Hi Karthik-

You don't know me from Adam (of the Bible) and vice versa, but I will say that you are destined for some amazing successes in your life- Because you are willing to accept (and publicly proclaim!) full responsibility for what happened here with alleged "Magic Mike" -

This isn't my first rodeo, and I had joined the original "100" during the summer, and to "Magic Mike's" (God I think about the NLP used in that name!) credit he DID credit me $25.00 towards my $50.00 August payment- But as I said, this isn't my first rodeo and I JUST KNEW from the shenanigans, and hemming and hawing, and constantly changing the "game plan" and continually "flipping the script" that this guy was playing and planning by the seat of his pants, and didn't know what the heck he was doing, except for knowing that he had MANY people waiting and relying on him to deliver something that was in reality a fantasy- I cancelled my membership for September before he could rip ANOTHER $50.00 out of my account, and now here we are-

I'm not trying to say or imply that I'm so smart (although I am!) but really just trying to say that from a position rooted in concrete reality, you have chosen to take the complete opposite of the pernicious and prevalent "victim mentality" plaguing so many in our society today, and are willing to say, Hey, I trusted this complete scam artist, and I will take what I've learned, and make Dam* sure I "Wont Get Fooled Again!"

Congratulation on your quite mature, and astute, conclusion on this whole ordeal-

Now go have a frozen yogurt or whatever and move quickly onto better things in your life, and don't give this "Magic Mike" joker another second of your focus, energy, or consciousness!

Go have an ice cream? Mike would love that remedy, indeed.

Empowering: lose hundreds of dollars, eat frozen yogurt? Not really.

How about learn the process of recovering funds from a fraudster and pass on new found knowledge to unsuspecting victims of crime.

Take back what was stolen. Anything less is a green light to thieves.

Well I don't know about losing hundreds of dollars, I think I'm down $75, but the bigger issue in my mind is I've been through this a couple of times on the forum with WSO's gone bad (go figure!), and in my experience Paypal has not done much (or anything) due to the fact that the situations involve "digital" items- Now if you've lost hundreds or thousands, or others have, then yes I would be more enraged and "passionate" about it- I didn't know that anybody lost that kind of money- But either way, I still stand strongly by my recommendation to Kathrick- It isn't a "passive" stance as you're implying, it's more like moving on with your life instead of spending the next 365 nights or whatever lying in bed staring at the ceiling enraged over losing some money- In other words, this is already in the rear-view mirror for me, and I am not giving it another second of thought or emotion- But if I had lost hundreds or really thousands of dollars, then perhaps I'd be looking for a remedy-

Good luck to all of you who pursue- Don't get me wrong, I understand to some losing $25 or $50 is a heartbreak, and yes, it would be nice to hear him get his comeuppance- After all, revenge is always a dish served up nice and ice cold!! LOL

But to me, I'm just going to have an ice cream...

I'm in the same boat as you guys.I've sent him a ton of emails and tried to contact him on Skype...looks like he has gone to ground.

I was one who left a lot of positive comments about Mike, because at the time I was really happy with the coaching I had been getting and he seemed like a genuine guy who really wanted to help people... perhaps that was the hook to draw people in to his lair.

Over the last month or so things have gone pear shaped and my opinion of him
has changed, dramatically, spent plenty of money but little to no traffic.

In life we live and learn, people you think are friends turn out to be something else.

I've learned another hard lesson on the 'Broken Road of Internet Marketing'.

Good on you Karthik, you refuse to be a victim. The first step to higher consciousness (and success) is taking 100% responsibility for whatever happens to you. That said, it still feels a bit better to call him a scumbag, POS, whatever. But the thing is, move on, keep going.

The more of these WSOs you go through, you start to get a feel for the real vs the BS. But there is always work to do.

I think the hopes of large unlimited targeted traffic for life for $17 a month is what kept most people around. Escalate your disputes to claims is the best way to deal with these guys. Most of them wont respond to paypal for obvious reasons. Good luck.

Some of us were sold on the content more than anything. Mike has plenty to be humiliated and ashamed about, not me. I'm not a lying, theiving, POS, he is, and he'll be snagged. Keep the blame where it belongs - directly on his a**. Anything less is making excuses for him.

Never was one for putting victims of shady behavior on the hot seat. Criminals count on victims being blamed. See it everyday, no big surprise there, cat's out of the bag on that one...hahahaha.

This is absolute BS. I LITERALLY just sent him an email to ALL 4 of the email addresses he has somewhat provided us. Now that I check on his WF and that he's banned, I do a Google search in hopes of finding out why. L.o.l. Words cannot describe how angry I am.

I was even going to start a thread about if anyone has heard from him recently. Now I know.

It was GREAT how he shut down the forum before any of this happened, so that we couldn't talk about it amongst ourselves.

    Absolute BS.

Edit: I can't seem to file a dispute. It's "technically electronically distributed" so I am unable to file a dispute on it... Guys, how do you file a dispute on people who scam you, promising you coaching and advice?

wow.....seriously when i first open this thread, I only want to raise the question as I didn't hear from Magic Mike for quite a while. I didn't expect to have so many people reply. So thanks guys~

As a IM newbie, I came across a few so called gurus in the past few months. Magic Mike, John Chow & Matt Lloyd.....all these people look legit and make sense at the beginning, build my trust. But after a while, you will start to realise they only want to steal money out of your pocket.....I have no doubt about their knowledge on IM, but I can't agree with the way they operate their business. I don't mind paying if i can learn from you, I fully understand everything has a price, but don't cheat please~

Like Mark Bradley said, I, probably among many, had trusted him because he kept most of his promises early in the beginning. Replying to people, chatting on Skype, holding the webinars and answering questions. I talked to him for a good 2 hours before buying anything from him, and he even gave one of his products to me for free. He legitimately seemed like THE most genuine guy you can find. I could recall how I told him I was 18 years old and that he felt some admiration for me, for taking the business world so seriously at an early age, as well as understanding that I have wasted money on the IM game before.

It just all doesn't make sense. Surely if he planned to scam us from the beginning, he could have dragged it on longer, made us pay more $, not refunded our 50% of the payment if we didn't make any sales, and not have been so GENUINE at the beginning.

I also highly doubt he paid that many people to write positive reviews on the sales page, simply because he legitimately was an honest person at the start.

I'm just shocked. It doesn't make any sense.

I came here looking for info on why my traffic stopped over a week ago and was shocked to see all this above. I feel compelled now to start a paypal dispute since its all gone to hell.

I was originally a coaching student that got involved in the elite 100 group. Mike really seemed legit to me and give really good info in the few coaching sessions we had up until this membership site stuff started and I couldnt get him on coaching calls anymore. Maybe something unexpected did happen to him, I still hold out some hope that he will resurface and explain everything.

Does anyone know what this secret traffic source was? I have a feeling its tumbler but of course not sure. He did claim to have mentioned the traffic source to a few members.

I am not shocked because I knew about his past, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt because he had been kind to me previously and did the same for others. I assumed he had reformed. Bryan you are right, it doesn't make any sense. I gave my opinion of the numbers on twirlie.com.au blog (Magic Mike's IM Guerillas Elite Membership - An Honest Review - Twirlie.com.au), but I will repeat it here:

He had about 100 members and at most he charged $97 x 2 payments, but many paid half that. At best, he grossed $19K, but more like $10-12K. He paid out sales commissions of $50 at 0-5 times per member. I am guessing he paid out 100 commissions for $5K. He issued rebates for late delivery that varied depending on how many sales you had (1-2K?) He issued refunds until last week ($2K?). He bought traffic (maybe not). He paid PayPal and Warrior Forum fees. If he made more than $3K I am surprised; if he lost money, I am not.

If he did this to con us then he went to an awful lot of time and trouble for nothing or not much. It wasn't a good con, but maybe he had a bigger plan and he just couldn't make it work so he bailed.

This whole story of him being a 17 year IMer recently retired was likely BS to gain credibility. He seemed to know what he was talking about though. Maybe he really intended to deliver, but he was just incompetent and then hid to avoid the shame. I am probably being too kind.

I wonder where all the fan boys and girls are that were attacking anybody who questioned Mike's abilities or his story. What about all of the testimonials? Why aren't these people here apologizing? They are not much better than him.

But you are right -- it doesn't make much sense.

Wow! I've had regular back and forth communications with Magic Mike for awhile, and things seemed OK, but at the same time rather strange. Actually, this has been the case for some time, and it was apparent that things were just not quite right. Then all of a sudden communication and everything abruptly came to a complete stand still! He has not responded at all to my email pleas for transparency, and request to open up a new forum. I had been aware almost from the very beginning about Mike's sordid past, because I am a serious computer researcher. I read Twirlie's posts and website blog (above), and Sam's videos and warnngs, the Rip-Off Report, etc., (all a long time ago), but nevertheless, I purposely made the decision to give Mike the "benefit of the doubt" as well, to wait and see if things had changed for him. I was really hoping he was turning his life around, and maybe this would be a new beginning for him in the long run. It is a real disappointment for me to see this unfortunate state of affairs, and now the spiraling downturn of events. I really don't see, either, how he could have made very much money from any of this at all!

But as everyone is saying, "For IM, it is a very sad reality, but nevertheless an absolutely truthful lesson to be learned!"

I was one of the first persons involved in the IM Guerilla Elite 100, and due to a previous illness, I have become somewhat disabled. As a result, I really need to make a decent living and a solid income online. Prior to this, I was a professional in my chosen field of TV and Radio Broadcasting, for many years. Mike seemed genuine to me! ...Talk about real frustration! But I am NOT a victim, either... I refuse to be! Sadly, I don't think PayPal can do much of anything, since payments came directly from my bank account.

I would be interested in joining with others to do some sort of group effort at pursuing a remedy of some kind on a deeper level, but what would that be, and what can we really do? PM me if anyone has any ideas, as I am open to suggestions.

Take care everyone, and Thanks! I wish you all the very best!

For those of you looking to file PayPal dispute. You will probably win because Mike will probably not respond, but there is no money in his account.

"I wonder where all the fan boys and girls are that were attacking anybody who questioned Mike's abilities or his story. What about all of the testimonials? Why aren't these people here apologizing? They are not much better than him."

Not absolutely sure what you're driving at Mike,so just to clarify, are you suggesting that anyone who left a testimonial in his threads should be apologising?

Are you also suggesting that anyone who left a testimonial is a scumbag?

I never used the word "scumbag."

I am mostly pissed off at the fanboys who shouted down anybody who asked an embarrassing question, revealed details of Mike's background, suggested that all might not be as it seems, or simply spoke the truth. I was attacked publicly and in PMs for posting that Mike was not acting professionally, that his story wasn't holding together, or that he was glossing over all of the negative issues (skills likely honed in his 10 years as a professional con-man). People demanded that I remove posts because it was bad for sign-ups. These people were so enthralled with Mike that it got rather nauseating as they defended him. Those people are very quiet now.

As for testimonials, most of them said that Mike was a great guy, that he spent time with them on skype for free, that they were really impressed with his WSO -- nothing about making money. A few people went farther, said they had worked with him and/or known him a long time and basically testified to his good character. I suppose they feel betrayed too. Hopefully they feel bad about their testimonial causing others to invest in Mike's scheme. I would apologize, yeah.

I think it's very possible that they don't know about this thread, yet, or may be confused, as are others, as to what is going on. I just stumbled upon it myself. I am making an effort to get the word out on this.
Let's give them some time and see what comes to light.

Is it possible to go to the locked forum: "[CLOSING FOREVER] Get MASSIVE Traffic + Money-Making Membership Site - MUST Watch The New Video" and PM people that made "glowing testimonials" about "Mike's so-called integrity" in order to alert them about the existence of this new thread, and ask them to come here and comment and/or clarify their current position? (This thread has only been here for 2 days.) If they won't do that, it may tell us a lot. Not having an open forum where we can communicate with other members has been a real problem. The old WSO is still posted on the Warrior Forum if you do a search on "Magic Mike." I may do some of this myself, if I get the time.

        • I filed a dispute today with Paypal - I got into his coaching program and he only did ONE session - he was supposed to do 4! If Paypal doesn't give me satisfaction, I will file a claim with my credit card company.

He scammed us! I KNEW his site wasn't going to materialize, but he owes me coaching sessions and never delivered. Always made excuses "busy with the website", etc.

I will be honest - most of the stuff I bought from WSO are garbage anyways and I've asked for more than my fair share of refunds.

I got my repsone back from Paypal -- they closed the dispute becasue it was over 45 days.

I did send Unmagical Mike a text from a number I had with our one and only coaching call stating I want a refund and also told him that I will contact the attorney general in NY if I do not get it.

and manidip, chuck avants, cparker, Dailybread, mikeyespo, Reddevil007, JohnDavid, and none other than Mark Bradley -- and that's just the first page.

      Here is Mark Bradley's testimonial:
You can see my reviews in his other threads, but I just wanted to jump in to let
you know that if you really want to be successful in IM then Mike is definitely
one of the 'go to guys' because he knows his s**t, big time.

He has really opened my eyes up and shown me things that I've never heard of before and I've been around for a few years.

Having got to know Mike I can say with hand on heart that he genuinely wants people to succeed under his mentorship. Not only that but he's a really cool dude, very down to earth, easygoing and I really appreciate his guidance and friendship.
Now that's a REALLY strong testimonial -- the kind of testimonial I was talking about. I bet that motivated a few people to sign up. That explains why Mark was defensive in his post above. Since you and Mike are friends, Mark, "with hand on heart" you can probably offer some really good insight into why Mike screwed us and perhaps even express some regret for your post?

Edit: Never mind. I just linked you to your initial post. It sounds like you regret your testimonial.

"Never mind"...are you taking the piss?

Of course I mind when some a*****e is trying to tarnish my reputation with unfounded allegations and slanderous comments.

I wasn't being defensive in my post above, just letting everyone else know that I was in the same boat, exactly the same as CParker's post who you seem to have thanked???

Am I friends with Mike? I thought I was but obviously not as I've not heard from him in almost a month...exactly the same as everyone else.

Can I offer some insight as to why Mike screwed us? I don't read minds so, no I can't give you any insight at all.

As to whether people purchased based solely on my testimonial, I don't know but if they did then yes I would feel guilty. But like I said in my initial post that was a genuine testimonial based on my feelings at the time.

You left a lot of positive posts in the sales thread, like post number 553...

"It's only been a month, so yes, that's it for now. The thing is we had to do almost nothing for this and it's recurring monthly income. Two sales covers your membership. Three makes it +$50.

It's not mlm. It is exactly the same as selling any other affiliate product that bills monthly -- there are hundreds on ClickBank and JVZoo. In this case though, Mike is priming the pump for early members and rotating leads through the affiliate to prove the system works. At some point, this will end, so now is a great time to jump in. Many say, "no brainer."

Ask again if that didn't answer it all for you."

Perhaps you should be making some apologies instead of having a go at other people with unfounded and baseless comments.

I understand you were upset when people had a go at you for exposing Mike as a conman.Just to be clear I was not one of those people,as I'm sure you know.

I suggest you engage your brain next time before slandering myself and the others that you cited in your post.

Lesson learned: don't fall into these schemes, and what a hard lesson to learn. The man took 24 hours worth of my job, but I guess it's partly my fault. I've filed a dispute at PayPal but my hopes are down again since people say his account is empty, so depressing to see this man get away with it. Would it be possible to get a lawyer involved?

Also this is unrelated but I'm desperate for information so I can move on. Does anyone know of a traffic guide that absolutely works? Paid or free, doesn't matter.

Sorry to be the bearer of more bad news but those thinking of raising a dispute with Paypal...you are wasting your time!

Paypal will only intervene in disputes for Physical products. Where the product is digital or intangible ie traffic/coaching/downloads Paypal simply wash their hands of all responsibility.

To add to the pain most credit card companies do the same if you have paid via a third party payment processor, in this case, Paypal.

This is the problem online... companies happy to take their share of the pie but then turning their backs when something goes wrong.

Warrior Forum, Paypal and the card companies will all have made money from this scam by way of fees, interest and charges. In effect they are partners in crime!

But don't hold your breath waiting for them to refund or compensate...they won't.

I'm on the same train as you guys and have been trying to get out for the last 14 days.

I've sent numerous emails requesting the charges to stop and after my second rebill I added a refund request for being billed after requesting that the charges should end.

I've opened a dispute with paypal even though as it has been said, this most likely will end with nothing.

I do have a question, how to stop him from charging my credit card again. There is no subscription or similar information connected to the charges in paypal so it looks like they are done manually or by a system outside paypal. My purchase in JVzoo does not hold any rebill information or subscription?

        Here's how:
        1. Log in to your PayPal account.
        2. Click Profile near the top of the page.
        3. Click My money.
        4. Click Update in the My preapproved payments section.
        5. Click Cancel or Cancel automatic billing and follow the instructions.

    Hey Guys,

    I just saw this thread.

Well, I AM one of the ones that gave him good reviews, and now I feel terrible that I did! But understand, he worked with me on the phone and skype for hours several days.... for no money trying to help in the coaching. Then he tells us all about the traffic thing, and then he shows ME and a few others this system that looked real, so of course I gave a wonderful review! What a sucker I am.

I feel terrible now that I did, as he treated me like a friend. I did not lose money from him, but mad at myself I believed in him when this has hurt so many people.

So you asked for someone who gave him a good review to "step up"........here I am................someone who has been in this business a long time and should of known better.

When you Google "Jamison Palmer and Magic Mike" together you find that they worked together!

In this video, Magic Mike audibly endorses Jamison Palmer by NAME and puts Jamison's "Name on the Screen" as Mike endorses Jamison Palmer for MLM and the Empower Network. (*See Links below.) Many believe the Empower Network borders on being a scam, as well, as it has been banned from Facebook, YouTube, and Google domain rankings. (In Google Search these words: "empower network banned")

See my next post about PLS under Mike...
Keep in mind that Magic Mike is/was a launch jacker. He would promote anything that was hot. Empower network was hot a while back, so he promoted it, as did Jamison Palmer. Jamison Palmer provided his members with a funnel to Empower Network. Mike was just trying to gain credibility by linking himself to Jamison Palmer' excellent reputation. In that video Mike endorses Jamison, so perhaps Jamison was one of Magic Mike's mentors.

Don't tarnish Jamison just because Mike endorsed him. Jamison has no control over who endorses him.

Empower Network is a hotly debated opportunity. There is a LONG thread here on WF about EN, where both sides are argued. I read it until I was nauseated and ultimately chose not to promote it. In my opinion it was not a scam, but I didn't feel that it offered enough value and integrity for me to promote it.

Jamison is now promoting PLS for obvious reasons. I signed up for PLS under Mike, but I did not do so just because he recommended it. You may recall that Mike was not interested in PLS at first but Michael Esposito (mikeyespo) and John Fuller convinced him to promote it. I reviewed PLS and in my opinion it offered great value coupled with an affiliate income opportunity. I will pay for the system when it is released and I will promote it as an affiliate. PLS has a similar compensation plan to Empower, but it is a very different product.

I also bought Jamison's recent WSO ($17 + $29 OTO + $100 recommended traffic purchase). He offers a system to generate income and my research indicates that Jamison is the real deal. As part of the WSO, Jamison has a prebuilt funnel to PLS to get you started, which you can use for free. Of course Jamison will make money with you if you do. However, Jamison's system can be used to promote anything. I will be doing the training and getting setup today and I will report my finding on Jamison's WSO thread.

Mike provided three links to signup for Power Lead System. The first link was his own, the second was John Fuller, and the third was Michael Esposito. If you signed up under one of those links you will be making money for one them.

If you do not promote the link, then you will not put any money in their pocket or yours. I will be promoting PLS, but I will send traffic to a different link under Jamison Palmer. I will also see if I can remove my signup under Mike.

Do you happen to know who is the actual owner of PLS? I did a quick look last night but have been going on very little sleep so may have missed it... I'm forcing myself to rest today.

PS - For anyone still wanting to play this IM Game, Alex Jeffreys may be someone to research... He's big on organization and planning, so if that's where the struggle lies, he might well be worth reading about on WF.

Don't think you quite grasped what I was saying in the post Mike.Seems to me
you make comments without reading or understanding the posts.

I'm not apologising to you. I apologised if anyone made a purchase
      based on my review.

Think you should be the one apologising to me.

I bought into this rubbish because of the extremely positive reviews left by some warriors. What really annoys me is how earlier in the thread someone started questioning mikes credibility and was immediately attacked by some dimwit for doing so, people should be allowed to voice there concerns without being bashed, its these criticisms that raise alarm bells.

The only way anyone is going to get there money back is by phoning Paypal and talking to them directly, as i have done. They wont listen otherwise as its a non physical item and will close the dispute in mikes favor... this is how scammers like mike work online, they know Paypal will always close the dispute in there favor.

Paypal are checking his account now, so the more people that phone and actually tell them they have been scammed by this person the better.

I cant believe this happened. I´m very dissapointed. I also told him that I was very tight on my Budget and he told me that He wasnt trying to convinced me to join this amazing membership and blah blah blah so of course the "im not trying to convince you" totally convinced me and I joined.

So a couple of days ago I raised a dispute in paypal so I hope I get my money back and I also raised an infraction here in the Warrior Forum. He has 4 already.

Hello. As someone in an earlier post stated that I was the biggest whiner, guess what? Whining WORKS!!!

I complain and complain because I started doing alot of research before Mike did his disappearing act, I read a few forums where everything sem to make perfect sense of his previous scams and how the one we all joined was so similar to it. Red flags went all over my head and I had a really good feeling he was going to disappear. So I was one the first person who had copied him on the emails you were all receiving. I did that on purpose to let him know and everyone else to get out before it was too late. After, aka, (whining so much), guess what, Mike refunded me. It took him almost 2 weeks since my first initial complaint. But he did so anyways.

Now as for my second refund, that was too late. He had vanish already and it is the reason why this review thread was open. I did open a paypal dispute. Someone ealier posted that they won their paypal dispute and got their money back. Well, I open mines a few days ago and on Sep. 27th is Mike doesn't respond back, I will win and get my money back. How do I know? Because I spoke to someone from paypal and they explain to me that the decision goes in my favor, if first the seller doesn't respond back, regardless in the product is tangible or not, and second, I also win if the dispute if open within the 45 days since the transaction. My second rebill for the elite 100 was on august 15th so I was still within the 45 days when I open the dispute.

Anyways, I could care less if someone categorized me as a whiner, but at least this whiner got his first $97 dollars back. Some people say, forget about it and move on, learn your lesson, but I refuse to get scam. To me $97 dollars is alot of money. I work really hard for my money and that is a whole day of work for free given to a scammer. The right to do is to fight and get your money back. If you have to be a whiner, so be it!! People in here act like they are rich and they just let it go and give up like $97 dollars is nothing to them!

I am not even in the middle class classification. I am in the very poor class and I fight to get something that belongs to me. He did not earn the right to take my money and did not deliver on what he promised. So I should let it go and learn my lesson? I don't think so!!

By the way, that picture of his house, if he is a professional scammer, he could of put a fake address on his aweber account in case someone decided to look up his house. So I doubt that is his real address.

Now I know why he wear that stupid SEO hat. He was hiding his face this WHOLE TIME!! What a jerk!

The google link to the house is his where he resides. In the link above for the article pertaining to the sick mother there are other non-related stories. One in which is a property (deed) transfer from what appears to be his father to him and other siblings. That's the address.

As far as him wearing the hat for a disguise:
Nothing shady about that appearance, hey?

My guess is he refunded money to those who complained and purposely avoided answering specific questions about his past when asked so when this whole thing unraveled if you went to the authorities the amount of money an individual lost would be insignificant enough for them to chase him down. Being evasive would keep fraud charges off his back.

Although he's off WF I would encourage anyone who has been burnt by him (time or money) to be vigilant on You Tube. Flag videos he has posted or appeared in as Spam/Scam. Eventually that website will ban him. Reducing the number of platforms he has to get his next scam out will prevent others from being sucked in.

I unfortunately fell prey to this scam at the beginning. However, I requested a refund after the first month, thank God. I tried to post a comment in War Room about people using different names on the internet...such as Mike has, but somehow my comment was never posted. I started a link in my signature like he said to do, then I got banned from WF for a week. I sent him an email about being banned and he said he would tell everyone, but he did not. WF never did reply to my email about being banned. Just so you know.

I publicly apologize to all who have purchased

I am really sorry friends for that.

However, the fact is, I still believe Mike's methods are
hands down the best. But, please don't mix the methods
        effectiveness with Mike's intentions.

I have learned few really good IM things like ranking quickly,
getting customers first on to landing page, etc.

However, whatever Mike has done to all of us...just unforgettable.
I don't understand why did he do so? I don't think he made a large chunk
of money either. I simply couldn't understand what he was up to.

        But, bygones are bygones now.

Though I have moved on to a new beginning and like Ajaxmike did,

I learned a serious lesson.....and not to forget that I am suffering heavily
like others as I have managed to get on to Mike's coaching by borrowing
        from someone.

So, the incident just changed my entire outlook of IM.

          Hey everyone-

Look, we all need to just get over this and not spend another moment of energy or frustration trying to "understand" why or how this happened- Study the "criminal mind" and you will discover that there are hundreds of thousands, if not millions of people out there, who have zero compunction or second thoughts about ripping money out of someone's bank account, and then haplessly spending that money without giving YOU a second thought- I know that that notion may absolutely confound and completely annihilate the sensibilities of some people, but that doesn't eradicate the reality that there are people like this out there nonetheless-

If nothing else, it is a matter of survival- For some reason, over time, at least our Western culture and civilization has created and developed a notion of "morality," of even daresay "fairness," where everybody is expected to adhere to some arbitrary standard where we all believe, and agree that, our survival is important, but we will not cross the line of dishonesty or manipulation when it comes to securing that survival-

Really? When it comes to absolute, abject bone-on-bone and tooth-on-tooth survival, where my children are going to starve to death if I don't secure the necessary provisions for my family? Of course, I completely understand that we have all "evolved" eons beyond this type of animalistic behavior...

But really, can we all say this with complete confidence? A person like "Magic Mike," as it appears now, has no second thoughts or moralistic compunctions about mercilessly ripping perhaps irrevocable irreplaceable money, funds to sustain someone's life, that a person has worked diligently for years, maybe decades, to acquire, and now with "Magic Mike's" effortless defanglements, has abruptly decimated who knows how many people's long-struggled for and saved nest eggs- To live with the knowledge that one has completely and irrevocably "ruined" someone's life due to their greed, avarice, and complete disconnection and disregard for human life, speaks volumes about the character and, truly, complete SOUL of that person-

It is a soul composed of true evil, on the par with some of the most heinous and truly horrifying and grotesque human beings on the planet- Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot, Idi Amin-

Sleep well, Mr. Magic Mike- If you are not sleeping in a toasty, warm bed tonight, you most certainly will when you come to the end of your putrid, pointless existence... I guess you have truly been bereft of one of the most important lessons of life- That of love and compassion for your fellow man-

You have clearly adhered to one of the most petty and pathetic approaches to life-

That of living for yourself completely, and wholly, at the expense of even one other single, human being- Sleep well, Magic Mike, and the same to whomever it might be that you sleep with every night...

This is somehow ironic. When I almost forgot about Mike, I find this thread, and realize that I KNEW this is going to happen. I was fighting Mike a month ago in several posts on his thread, you can see them here - http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...ml#post8432959. Looks like everyone was happy before I posted, but then people started to realize something wrong is going on. And then Mike shows up, and says "oh guys I'm sorry, I'll be a nice guy from now on". That's it. No explanation, no professional attitude. And what happens? everybody believes him, everybody praises Mike, "Mike's back, everything's gonna be alright". And two days later he closes the thread, so nobody can "spoil" it again. Two more days, and I don't ever hear from him again, although he promised to refund me, and even to give me a free membership to his "elite", as an apology to wasting 2 months and a half of my time and never answering my emails.

I think the lesson we all should learn from this is sometimes we don't believe something, because we DON'T WANT TO believe. Even if your mind and your intuition says "something's fishy in here", you chose to believe the glossy fairy tale, where you're happy and make a lot of money, even though somewhere deep inside you know that now it's very unlikely. I think it's one the phases of growing up in internet marketing.

Good luck to all of you who's trying to get a refund. If it's less than 45 days, it's worth trying.

Well, this thread is really discouraging. I thought it was odd that Mike's last email regarding the traffic system was on the 10th...and then nothing. I've tried contacting him as well, but to no avail. Perhaps I will try his home phone number that someone listed above.

To clarify, IM Player, Mike didn't close his two WSO threads. A mod did that - after I asked the mod to check a few things. I was concerned about some posts made and so decided to do some research on my own. It didn't take very long to discover that "Video Whiz" (who was a big supporter in the coaching thread, claiming that Mike got him to $4000 per month within less than two months) was actually Mike.

If you check the last post in this thread: http://www.warriorforum.com/wanted-m...-will-pay.html by Video Whiz (and this is from November of 2011) he gives his email address as drmagicmike@hotmail.com. TWO years ago!!! A little further research connected this email to none other than Michael Cioppa - aka Magic Mike!

The mod did some checking and confirmed that Video Whiz and Mike were posting from the same IP. So, he contacted Mike and Mike gave the lame excuse that Video Whiz had become his friend in recent months, they both lived in NY, and VW was posting from his (Mike's office). Mike ALSO told the mod that he had only gotten to know VW in the past few months (from the coaching), yet VW made that post (with the "drmagicmike" email nearly two years ago!!).

I confronted Mike regarding this (and other issues I found about his past), and he said he's gone over this and over this, even discussed it on a webinar (one I missed, and he never sent me the link as promised) and that most of it wasn't true.

So, I stupidly gave him the benefit of the doubt, hoping, perhaps, that he still had valuable IM knowledge to impart. I had also talked to him on Skype for 2 hours at one point (a couple months ago), and he seemed very genuine and knowledgeable.

Mike seemed very generous, but I was concerned that he kept changing the game (in my experience, a HUGE red flag).

I rarely buy WSOs these days, and had high hopes for Mike's coaching. It makes me sick when people do this.

Btw, just tried calling that 518 number someone else posted - it's no longer in service - what a surprise!

Somebody else noticed the link between Video Whiz and Magic Mike very early in the thread but the post was deleted. It certainly looked suspicious. I didn't realize a mod could check things out that thoroughly.

That's hilarious that Mike said he had "gone over this and over this." Mike never, ever gave an answer to any of the issues -- his multiple names, video whiz, jail time, his doctorate -- he just smoothly sidestepped the issues and got everybody focused on all of the money they were going to make.

Clearly I missed that post before it was deleted. Yes, the mods can check members' IP addresses and emails. When I asked the mod to check it, I was really hoping that Mike's and Video Whiz's wouldn't be one and the same...

When I confronted Mike about this, this was his pm response to me:

Well, I did address these things on an early webinar, that you probably weren't yet around for... No, I can tell you I'm NOT video whiz...

I do understand yours and others concerns when they see things but I do ask them to go not by a bunch of things on the internet that has been grown and blown up like crazy, where I just don't bother to respond... but by what I'm doing in IM and the personal interaction people have had with me...

I've been through this 1,000 times, over the past few years once I've "come out" as far as being more public with my IM...

All I can tell you is that, judge things by what they are... good products, good results, personal contact... I'm not sure what else there is... I've been defending myself for years...

Anyway... not everything is true, actually far from it... AND, to be fair, not everything is wrong either...

Like most things its somewhere in the middle, however, things ABSOLUTELY ARE as I say they are...

Again, I've asked people to go by "what is"... If anyone wanted a refund, they got it immediately... not trying to do anything underhanded here... in fact, I've shown people a good bit of the traffic system so they could report a bit about it... if you'd like to see it, I'd be happy to screen share and show you the process...

Have I made mistakes ? No doubt about it... have I stopped doing that long ago and done very well in IM and helped lots of people ? YES, no doubt about that either...

So, it seems there never was such a webinar...?

Yes, he did refund people in the past. But I'm guessing no one's going to get a refund now. He tells us to "judge things by what they are"....well, at this point, it seems he has disappeared into the wind and abandoned everyone who trusted him to deliver...

*Expect every excuse in the book if you get through. I saw on the Twirlie website a woman posted a link to a newspaper article. I used the same source and checked further. Here's an excerpt:

"On Thursday, Cioppa was supposed to face the judge in court, but explained that his mother was deathly ill, so Rosen rescheduled the matter for Friday. On Friday, when Cioppa didn't show up and no one could verify that the defendant's mother was ill, Rosen issued a warrant for his arrest. Monday morning, Cioppa, along with a seemingly healthy mother, visited Rosen's courtroom, where he found deputies with handcuffs eager to take him away."

I cant believe i was taken in so much, i paid for his coaching his membership and an extra place for my wife, i apologise for giving such glowing reports about him but at the time they were honest reviews.

Well, to me slideshare doesn't work. I followed his method and tried it on 3-4 keywords and neither one of them ranks. So I gave up. Maybe it's just me....

I learned a serious lesson.....and not to forget that I am suffering heavily
like others as I have managed to get on to Mike's coaching by borrowing
          from someone.

So, the incident just changed my entire outlook of IM.
Still learning and way to go my friends.

          Thanks for understanding and support,

          Best
          Manidip

Regarding PLS...I signed up under Mike for the "Power Lead System" through his URL. He sent out an email via "getresponse.com" explaining all of this. Here are the *links:

(From PLS at the bottom of the page.) "This Site Belongs To Michael Cioppa"

*Links: Early Notification List and https://app.getresponse.com/click.ht...e&s=0PzhG&y=s&

It's interesting that another WSO gets a mention here.

I read all 7 pages which I normally don't do because it sounds like something I would join. Only in the last few pages, the testimonials mention PLS and that you will be buying solo ads to get sign-ups.

The seller up to now hasn't answered what I consider a important question that I and 2 others asked.

I wonder why these guys are afraid to say they are promoting PLS and that you will be using solo ads. To me PLS, have the signs of a pyramid scheme. I got this impression straight from their FAQ's.

And solo ads? Can I afford to buy these with their extremely low conversion rates? How many of these free sign-ups will pay that monthly amount?

But here's the clincher, right from the sales page..."HERE is the exciting part... Each one of these signups can mean thousands of dollars in monthly profits."

    Sounds familiar?

I am reluctant to highjack this thread, but since I recommended Jamison, I will try to keep it short (even though I am not known for that). PLS is a tiny bit like an MLM in that you make money on other people's sales, but it is NOT an MLM because there is just one level. Believe me I hate MLM, but I decided to go with PLS with Mike because when I checked out the company I liked what I saw. The product has been around since 1999, used by F500 corporations, better and cheaper than aweber, etc.

Jamison is providing a done-for-you funnel that is optional to use, but of course he is hoping you use it because he will make money. Why else would a millionaire bother training you for $17? You can promote something else if you want. Perhaps he is trying to hide the PLS link, because everyone starts using the word pyramid when they don't even understand the structure of the system.

What's wrong with solo ads? That's what Jamison uses and he's a millionaire. He says you don't need to buy any ads, but it will take longer, so he recommends $100 and that should be enough.

As I said, I am going with Jamison and I just thought I would offer that up in case anybody wants to have a look. He happens to be also recommending PLS, which I was already sold on as an affiliate and a customer. Further conversation should probably take place on that thread.

To address the issues here, I lost money like others. I was also a coaching student.

When I buy a WSO, I only use "disposable" income. If I lose money, I move on. It is no secret, that many of these WSO will not work but the ones I buy, I can always get some helpful information from them.

I hope that those who file the dispute, will get back their money.

    Hey all,
What a trip to find this thread! I was wondering about the lack of communication from Non magic Mike. I too, was part of the Elite 100, and thought I'd take a shot. It is strange how scammer's work? it just doesn't make sense as far as monetarily. I drive truck, so I do not have the time to do the research, so I am guilty of not doing my proper due diligence. I guess looking back there were signs that should have been red flags. Also, I guess to gain trust, he refunded half of my second payment of $97.00, which I thought was cool.
I feel bad for those of us who got played, and if there is any recourse that anyone has ideas, I'm all ears. But it sounds like it was a semester at the School of Hard Knocks. For some, it may be more painful than others, but in do time, it will always make us stronger. Class dismissed!

Glad I found this thread because I too did not get any replies to my messages and pm's. To his credit he did refund half of the second $97 payment. After that though I heard no more. I've experienced this kind of thing before though here.

It's a shame people prey on the elderly and disabled like this.

As for Jamison Palmer - I bought from him in the past and he too stopped replying to mails and there was nothing from the support line either.

    ((( POOF ))))

Now you see him.....Now you don't.
At least *Magic* Mike had the integrity to live up to his name

    Looking at it another way.....

His offer to "do it all" for everyone while they "sit back and watch the money roll in"
was silly putty poppy-dope (for dopes) to begin with, ??? Yeah ???

2 months ago, when all the excitement was running at a fever pitch,
I sent Mike this PM regarding the ever-attractive "I'll do it all for you" pitch:

    - In theory it even seems possible
    - making it a most appealing solution for all!

    But the reality?
The one-man-army of Atlas doesn't exist.

It *IS* a huge weight to lift up n' carry. The WEIGHT being:
The energy-sucking stagnancy of those who expect a-lot of something, for nothing.

The bottom line is seen just above the poppy field, right at eye level:
Ya can't break the law of Gravity.

No matter how much hope, hypey expectation and ((( Hot Air ))) you pump into a balloon,
once it gets high enough and hits cold air, it's comin' back down.

7Figs: Well your comments to him weren't exactly calling him out. If he never offered the "I'll make money for you" scam, people would not have had high expectations. Seems like you're forewarning him that the people who took him at his word were the ultimate problem.

What irks me the most, it wasn't that he just had a past of swindling people. It's amazing how many times you can play the "ooops" card and get away with it. How many other people has he scammed or stole from that we don't know about? When I found that newspaper link on Twirlie and read through those articles, this guy was an actual thief, not just an internet con man. Would travel a great distance from Albany to Kingston NY, enter a gym and steal wallets from unsuspecting people's lockers. The internet has enabled him to sit in his living room and do the same thievery to unsuspecting people looking for betterment opportunities. Can't exactly do your due diligence when all the other person offers up is "Magic Mike."

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------

RayWarrior1978: Yes - that's him. Prior to "Magic" he posed as a "Doctor" to lend credibility to that scam.
