I'm an hour west of Joliet.....hmmm !

I'm in Joliet... and I'm definitely down for getting together (driving isn't really a problem to be, oakbrook isn't too far..). Hopefully we can all work something out tho, that would rock.

I know I'm a little late but were you able to get the "Mastermind Group" off the ground.

Did anything ever get going with the Chicago group?? I'm in the city so I would interested in meeting.

Sounds good, greektown is awesome, I actually live a couple blocks away so I'm definitely down. I haven't been to 9 muses but there's a place called Pegasus on 130 s halsted, on the corner of halsted and adams. It's got an awesome rooftop dining/bar area with a view of the whole city and some killer sangrias so that's another possibility for drinks and discussion. I'm cool either way.

For anyone who doesn't live in the city, the surrounding suburbs, or simply doesn't want to drive - the downtown metra train station is only like a 5-7 minute walk away. You could easily hop on the metra with your laptop, do some work on the way and avoid all the traffic.

I'm based about 35 miles SW of Chicago in Woodridge, IL. I'd sure like to be in on any August and further meetings for the affiliates and Internet Marketing mastermind groups. Is there room for one more, and how do I get involved? Thanks for any info and schedules/locations, etc.

City or burbs...? Being in the burbs I'm partial to somewhere like Schaumburg - easy parking and easy access to all major expressways...just some ideas so we can get this going -

Well I am also a newbie and located in South Central Will County. Anything come of this group? Or is anyone looking to start a group in Will County? I would be willing to travel to anywhere in Cook, Will, Dekalb, or Kankakee. jlmk

I see a lot of back and forth but it looks like no resolution ever happens.

For those in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago or anyone willing to travel to the NW suburbs- I will set up the first mastermind meeting in Palatine at the library the first week of September, maybe the 5th or 6th for those interested (I need to check room availability.) I will even set up a con-call prior to that date to get clear on how we want to structure it so it's not a free for all at the first meeting. I'll set up a website, schedule, etc.

I have joined a few meetups and gotten nowhere with the groups. There are so many groups to join if you work in the city but city to suburbs at 6 for a meeting is hard to manage. I'd like to have like-minded folks who have needs to grow their business and skills to bring to the party.

Got your email and responded. I'm going to the library tonight to schedule our first mastermind the first part of September.

For those serious warrior IM'ers who live in the north of Chicago this mastermind group is a GO even if I have to sit there by myself. Hope we will have a number of Chicago suburb folks and grow this into a meaningful support tool. This is a great opportunity to meet other online warriors who may have businesses that you need to partner with, folks who have broken the barriers to some pieces of this business and yes, even competitors (maybe a partnership opportunity!) Learn, think, strategize, build a business, grow a business. Get off the board and into our self made board room. This is not going to be a "meetup." It is a warrior mastermind.
