"Must Have" - I.M'er Tools To Work Smarter Not Harder?

  • We all know about the mainstay software tools that help us work smarter not harder. For example, auto-responders, keyword research software, Wordpress, Google Analytics, Heatmaps, etc.

Here's an at-your-fingertips list of "time saving, idea sparking and smart work" sources - every savvy IM'er should have at the ready.

Some you probably heard of and some you probably haven't or at least haven't used. At least I didn't.

One source alone helped boost my email signups and my average sale per week 15.2% this month so far. If nothing else it's good to have all these sources in the form of a handy convenient list -- with "live" links. Good bookmark. So, they're at least worth a look. If you're not using at least some of these tools, you're probably working too hard or too ineffeciently.

P.S, If you can recommend any other similar resources that's worked for you please share with others hear. - Thanks.

=> The List <=

To your success.

Hope they save you the time, work and short-cuts they've saved me, so far.
The good news? ... Many have links to more "working smart" ideas."S-W-E-E-T!"

You kinda have to be careful though. You could spend so much time on the sites (discovring how to work smarter)- you don't get as much "actual work" done.

      Thanks Roy. Good share

Although I must say is that Hub Pages still relevant for today's IMer ?

It seems so archaic now in terms of being effective with all the changes with Google in the last 4 years or so.

I think it all depends on what you use it for. Personally, I find it useful to help spark ideas for possible niche products and services for clients - and cross check them with other sources.

But you're right, it's not what it used to be.

Thanks for sharing those 35 tools. There are so much tools out there that we must be careful. We can spend more time using them than they save us. But these tools are awesome for content creation and promotion.

Actually "using" them is where you save the time. The biggest time suckers is over analyzing ("paralysis of analysis"), ignoring them entirely, or having an "I'll try it someday" attitude.

Great list, I use a few of these products, such as Evernote, and I agree these tools help increase productivity.

Another resource I would like to add is Lucid Chart. Its a mind map app and I like to use it to map out ideas and content for products im working on. Also I use it to diagram and plan out funnel sequences. Its extremely intuitive, with lots of features, and very easy to use. I cant recommend it enough!

You should consider adding HOOTESUITE from http://hootsuite.com.

It is very helpful for managing sending content to multiple Twitter, Facebook and other social media accounts. It can automate a lot of the promotion tasks for you.

Otherwise, you have a great list and I will have to look into a few of them myself.

          Good list.

Allow me to throw one into the mix: 1Password.

It's not at first glance an obvious tool for internet marketing, but I make more use of it each day than anything else. With a click of a button it fills in login credentials for every website. You can create identities, making it a snap to auto-fill profiles when creating new accounts. It creates bulletproof passwords on demand. It also fills and submits credit card and Paypal information for any purchases, and is very useful for storing secure notes (e.g. wifi passwords, website notes, etc).

Just one of those unheralded little apps that makes all-day online marketing so much more efficient.

I had heard of HootSuite, but I didn't realize they were that big and influencial. They just keep quietly growing while making multi-million dollar acquisitions on the side. It's amazing how they're still able to keep that personal small company feel.

They also have an interesting recurring income affiliate program - with a wide open ... and growing market of potential prospects. I'm gonna check it out further. Thanks
