I am a newbies, I started blog in blogspot . But everyone suggest to leave the blogspot. From that time I was searching for cheap hosting to host my WordPress blog.

I came across godaddy , it provides WordPress hosting in just 1.5$ /month.

Another hosting I got is namecheap it provide 20GB for year in just 10$ a year for first year but renewal price is 39$ . Which one do you suggest will be best for me.

Well look at it from a business perspective. At the very least you're going to need to invest in the essentials. I've heard a lot of annoying things with GoDaddy hosting, so you may want to consider something like, BlueHost, NameCheap or HostGator.

It's just going to come down to your budget. Maybe look up some reviews on Google before making the final decision to what best suits you. I would have done that rather than waiting for responses on here. You could have probably used the search feature to find reviews about these also.

Even though Arvixe has been bought out by EIG you can still get hosting for as low as $4 per month and you get a free domain for the life of the account.

If you are seriously looking to take your blog to next level, you must surely invest in some money to move from blogspot to your self hosted platform . I have been with Bluehost and hostgator for over 3 years and had no problems with them.

I've never heard anything bad about Namecheap hosting. As long as you didn't register your domain-name there as well (never have your domain-registration in the same place as your website-hosting, for all the reasons explained here: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post7628717 ).

      I have three recommendations ...

      1. Avoid GoDaddy

      2. Avoid 1and1

      3. Avoid any hosting company owned by the dreaded Endurance International Group, whose business model seems to be to take over countless previously decent hosting companies and gradually (but very consistently!) turn them into customer service disasters. That includes Hostgator, which is already becoming a customer service disaster that large numbers of Warriors are now leaving, and the forum's full of threads in which we explain why.

These two will both help you to choose an appropriate host, if you read them carefully enough ...
