Too vague of a question, since we have no idea on what your site is about. But you can add Adsense or similar, Clickbank products, etc. If you plan of having a lot of traffic coming to it, you can sell ad space.

All that being said, setup a capture form on your site and start building your list. This will be the biggest way in the end to have a steady flow of income.

Let me see the site. Provide link. Otherwise my response to this thread may be the last one it receives - and the mods might lock or delete it anyway.

Yes your question is too vague. Just make sure that you have some useful content on your blog and make sure to promote that content. If no one sees your content and it doesn't help people, then your money making ventures won't be profitable.

Hard to tell without seeing the site but I would recommend adsense, amazon, autoresponder, clickbank, cpa offer, hosting, ebooks, SEO, & other ways to build traffic

Building on amazon affiliate will do good mostly if the products you promote are expensive, it wouldn't make sense to sell $18 book on amazon with the 4-7% commission which will leave you with $1.26 at most, so you might wanna have a look at clickbank for ebooks.

But it really depends on what you promote, there are affiliate networks for everything.
      What's your niche?

Not only is the question vague, you are coming at this from the wrong angle.

Before you ever build a site, you should know exactly how you intend to make money from it. That will determine the type of site your build, the topic of your site, and everything else about how you're going to monetize it.

First you find demand in the marketplace, then you determine how you're going to meet or satisfy that demand, then you can begin to think about the type and kind of site that will best offer your chosen solution.

You've got the whole process out of order.

Sign up for an autoresponder, add an optin form, collect emails, sell them a related product or create your own. Amazon is great but payout percentage is too low in my opinion.

I got my idea niche when I was looking threw best selling items on amazon, which had to do something with animals. A lot of people search this topic when i Use the key planner. The competition says its low like 9k-15k monthly searches. I don't know if im going on the right path, but as if right now im just trying to add some quality content. Am I going on the right path?

Is that broad searches or exact? If it is 9,000 broad searches per month it might only be 200 exact, which would explain why it's a low competition keyword. Lets say you sell dog treats and your keyword phrase is "dog treats" if you choose broad search then it will include searches like "what treats are bad for your dog" which of course is a search you wouldn't want your site showing up for.
I would also think that if something is a top seller on Amazon it will more than likely have high competition. Competition research is generally requires more than just looking at 1 keyword.

Sounds like you should put Amazon ads on your website.

The competition listed in the planner has NOTHING to do with Search Engine competition. The competition listed in the planner is competition fighting over the Ad space for that keyword. This means if you are showing Adsense ads, few people are paying for the words you are targeting, if any.

Like was mentioned above by another contributor on this thread, you need to plan out the site. You need to decide upon a niche, then figure out the market for that niche, get the content, and then promote that content so others can see what you have to offer.

First and foremost though, you should find out if there is even a market for your product and or service because if there's no market for it, then it would be useless to even build that site. If it isn't in demand, then it is a waste to build and maintain.

You need a solid plan and a solid foundation in which to work from. Otherwise, you're just spinning your wheels

Steve B is right, you should really know how your going to monitze a site before you start adding content..
but if your site is about information books, maybe adding clickbank book reviews, and a bit of adsense as a filler

No, that is the percent you get of the price of the product. If the product sells for $100 you get $50 which is 50%.
