Which Script, Theme or Template is CrunchyRoll.com running on?

Hey,

does anyone know which script, theme or template the popular site CrunchyRoll.com uses? I know it's not a wordpess theme. But not sure what it is. It's also probably custom, but what was the main thing to build off from?

Also, what is the closest available wordpress theme example for it, as an alternative?

Thanks.

You can use filters in wordpress.org themes, like:
    1) One-Column
    2) Sidebar right

    To Find similar themes.

Thanks. Anymore suggestions that are more similar to the original, or contain much of its features?

It looks like a custom job. If it's a CMS, they've done a great job of removing any footprint identifying the CMS, at least in the source code for the home page.

Most big sites aren't built off of anything. They could have been working with raw code from the start.

Yeah, but what I meant is what do you think is a good *wordpress theme* to start off with as the basis, if I wanna clone a similar site on the wp platform.

Something that looks similar or perhaps already has some of the features.

Why would you want to do that?

Cloning the designs of competitors is generally not good practice. Do your own thing. Stand out a little.

Perhaps cloning is not the best word. I never really like to just copycat someone 100%. What I meant though is mostly the features/capabilities. The design is also clean and light which I appreciate. I'll then add my own touches of course.

I'm asking because in the past one of my biggest mistakes regarding two projects/sites, was choosing the wrong cms and/or wp theme. There was too much work done and I just couldn't redo things again. So I had to stick to my bad choices. Don't wanna repeat the same mistake again.
