ANOTHER Twitter Question...

Ok, I'm back with another Twitter question:

I noticed you can tweet via text messages via your cell phone. I love that idea, but I only want to be able to SEND tweets via text mesage, not receive them. I'm following so many people that if I opt to get all of their tweets via text message to my cell phone, I'll quickly use up my monthly allotment of text messages!

How do I set it up to only SEND tweets from my cell phone and NOT RECEIVE them?

Thanks,
Michelle

LOL You're welcome! I actually just tried it and it works perfectly. Just turn 'device updates' off after you set up your phone in settings and you won't have to worry about getting bombarded by incoming tweets.

Once your phone is linked to your account all you have to do to text your tweets is send them to 40404.

I've also set Twitter to update my Facebook status AND set my cellphone to update both my Twitter AND Facebook status. Waaay cool!

I might not always be at a computer (even with a laptop) but I always have my cellphone with me.

        I LOVE technology!
