I have 150+ articles on ezine and I am finding out that the article gets lot more views in first few days and then they drop significantly. Why is that?

You're getting the initial burst of natural EZA traffic having been listed in the recently submitted section. The traffic is a mix of web surfers, webmasters looking for content, and competitors checking your stuff to see what you are up to.

Long-term traffic comes if your article gets ranked highly in the search engines. Sometimes that happens quickly if you are using under-served keywords. Other times, you may have to promote your article a bit to boost rankings. And still other times, your article may fall flat or be out-gunned in the SERPs.

The key is to keep getting better. Better keywords, better content, better links. At least, that's been my experience.

    HTH,

    Jeff
