I'm doing a lot of playing around with it, anyone have suggestions/tips/ or experience? As in real results?

Reddit users are very skeptical of anything that has a whiff of self-promotion.

You might want to focus on establishing credibility in the subredit your niche is related to.

Share best-of-breed third party content-not just your own stuff.

    Be helpful.

    Be authoritative.

Eventually, start sharing your links-only if it is appropriate.

Think of Reddit marketing as only a few steps removed from forum marketing.

Reddit is one of the largest, most diverse online communities. The site is filled with millions of people that have separated themselves into individual subreddits based on interest. Quite literally, there is a subreddit that applies to any and every possible business demographic. Unless you sell products to people without access to the internet… you need to consider joining the discussion with your target audience.

      Huh??

You aren't saying that if he sells to people with internet access, he wouldn't need to speak with his target audience... are you??
