Getting listed in DMOZ

Does anyone know how you actually get listed in DMOZ? Anyone have experience or know how to get listed please let me know. I have tried the manual submission for years with no success. thanks!

    truth be told, a do follow backlink from a high authority site (or listing) is still valuable. But why focus on one particular site?

    Well, I've tried submitting different urls twice or thrice but no chance.
    I stopped there, it is not that I give up it is just that there are many more resources out there. Don't just settle for DMOZ.

    Search the Dmoz categories and drill down until you find the directory you think best matches your website's content. Click suggest URL which is the third link from the left in the gray bar of links at the top of the webpage. Read the Submission Agreement and once complete and you agree with it, press submit.

      Hemanth thanks but I have done this. I guess I feel like you need to know someone on the inside or something to actually get listed. I have tried many times over many years and never got a site listed. Wonder if anyone has had success?
