Your Thoughts On Product Creation

Creating products is a great way to make online income, and as far as I know it's the best way as well. When you think about it, you have so many ways to make money online but none of them compare to the sheer power of creating your own product. First and foremost you own your product and can do whatever you want with it. Second you get to keep all the profits!

Let me guys know what your thoughts is on product creation

It's possible that it was deleted because it's self-promoting? I'm just guessing.

What I would do instead is put a link in your Signature file. Then participate in the forum more often providing value and helping other members.

Yeah I guess your right. I went ahead and deleted the rant because I felt that was wrong. But I left the link because I couldn't find a place to delete my thread lol

Personally, in my opinion, you might want to edit your post again - remove the link and just write something about doing videos or something.

May I make a suggestion about your videos?

You want to add a little more in the video description box plus a link back to your blog or website. This will increase your views and help get more subscribers.

I'm not a YouTube pro by any means, but this is what I learned from some of the YT pros for optimizing your videos.

Also, you might want to add a link in your Signature file here too instead of adding the link to a thread post.

I have also been a member of this forum for a couple of years now, but only really started posting regularly on this forum to get quality traffic from posting on this forum.

To my surprise, I found that self promotion will get you banned, and the quality of the traffic coming from this forum these days are not buyer traffic. Most of the members frequenting this forum these days are newbies from 3rd world countries that do not have a paypal account that has already been varified by their local bank, and they have not purchased any internet marketing products before. So you will only be attracting freebie seeking newbies on your email subscriber list that will never convert to sales.

On the positive side from posting on this forum, it is a live testing ground for creating your product for free.

      Let me explain...

Since I have only been active on this forum since January this year 2015, I was able to self publish my first book on amazon.com from just testing my content and how well it will convert, by sharing my case study results with the members on this forum.

Even though most of the threads I created were deleted by moderators due to them seeing it as self promotion, but I saw it as sharing my results with fellow warriors and helping them duplicate my results for free.

So yes I grouped all my case studies together that received the best response from fellow warrior members that appreciated my content, and I was able to compile the tried and tested content for my book over a two month period from the 07 April 2015 from my first few threads, and then I finally uploaded my book to the create space book store owned by amazon.com on 12 June 2015.

So I have had a positive product creation experience just by being more active on this forum helping out my fellow warrior forum members such as yourself.

Self publishing a book and ranking it high in the search result of amazon.com was by no means an easy task. I have sold my many 'how to' guides from my own free websites, but publishing your book for print on amazon.com and then publishing the ebook version of your book on kindle direct publishing will give you credibility to get television and radio talk show interviews, because you will be recognized as a published author.

From what I read, I am assuming that there are some missing posts in this thread? So I don't really understand everything However, I just would like to share my thoughts on product creation...

In my opinion, before creating a product where you teach people something, you should make sure that whatever you are planning to teach is working for you. That would make it a case study. Case studies are the best types of products because they are backed with proof and not only a bunch of theory.

Just my thoughts hope it helps.

Yes I agree with you on the part about you should stick with something that you are pretty familiar with, this way it will make it much easier. But of course if you really want to take that niche and run with it you can also study along the way. But I think what you meant is, make sure it works for you be it just the plain ol info e-book, video products, case study, etc. Yes , but this is part of the trial and error. It will take you some time to figure out what feels right for yourself. Case studies rock!

You won't go far by creating a product and "keeping all the profits"...

99% of digital products that really explode are those that have affiliate programs. You can only push your product to a certain level with your own efforts, but when you open the doors for affiliates and share the sales with them, then it's a totally different ball game.

Yes of course, having your own product is an excellent business model, but it takes a lot of experience/trial and error to create one from scratch, do the copywriting, then testing/optimizing, etc.

Your correct in saying that having affiliates will explode your success with this business model but affiliates is going to want to see some experience under your belt first, there also going to want to know that your product is selling. So this means your going to have to drive your own traffic to your offers first to prove it is worth there time. Lets say, if your are creating a product for the internet marketing niche, then a good way to get those initial sales is to launch your product right here on the warrior forum in the WSO section. Then you can take it over to clickbank, jvzoo and from there if your product is selling affiliates will automatically jump on your launch. You can set up affiliate programs right in the warrior forum or clickbank, not sure about jvzoo.

But anyway thank you for your input

No one said that you had to create a product and expect affiliates to promote it without seeing any proof of sales/conversions...

That's the reason why I mentioned "testing/optimizing" in my post, meaning you promote the product yourself, see how it converts, get the rates to the maximum level you can, possibly compare them with the competitors and only THEN start looking for affiliates.

Affiliates will look for you my friend if your product is making some noise

Product creation rocks, one of the main reasons I like it is because:
    1) You can build your own list instead of affiliate marketing where you generate traffic and send customers to somebody's list except your own.

    2) Build your own brand and online presence instead again, promoting somebody else.

    3) 100% 'commissions' all the profit is yours (having an affiliate program is also lucrative)

I'm currently in the process of creating my product. I can understand how people may find it difficult to get started with product creation, but you can always outsource it or get a PLR and completely revamp it into something that sells. There are so many opportunities!

Yes I agree, PLR would be the easiest way to launch a product. What I would do is launch one right here on the warrior forum. Its a good place to start! There is thousands of eye balls every day in the WSO section. But back to the PLR, that's the lazy mans way to riches! Of course if you are going to use a PLR product, please make sure it is of quality and would actually teach your customer something, don't put one on the market that is full of rubbish. Common sense ay? But just think if you launch hundreds of products a year in the WSO section. Cant you just smell the green piling up? But of course the average Joe isn't going to launch that many products in a year. Say you did 50. That would still be ALOT of money.

Creating digital products is a blast. Since you keep 100% of the profits and don't have to pay affiliates you have a lot more money to re-invest back into the business. You also create a BUYERS list you own and control.
