What should I do? Sedo domain

Hello,

I have agreed to sell a domain on sedo and the buyer already made the payment... But in the meantime, some country regulations came up and i'm receiving more offers for that domain for a higher price (bad timing...)

What should i do?

I know that i should continue with the sedo transfer... but you guys know, via email they are offering me more money (that can pay the sedo commission easily) and one of them already bought me a domain in the past.

Maybe I can contact sedo and explain the situation and see if they contact the buyer to see if the buyer can at least equal the amount. If the buyer can at least equal the amount (the domain have now more value) I accept it and transfer ir since the value of the domain is updated.

Its a little unfair for both since its not buyers fault, but the news came up in my favor...

Advices?

Thank you very much

  • If he already made the payment I really don't see how you could pull that off.

Yea... Its a dificult situation. I really dont like to do this things, but im thinking about paying the commission and accept the email offer from a past buyer... But maybe i can give an opportunity to the sedo buyer to equal the offer?

I dont know what to do =/

You agreed the sale, so presumably you were satisfied with the original offer. The buyer has made payment.

Sounds like a done deal to me.

Even if I could pay the commission and earn extra x,xxx?

What about explain to the buyer what happened about the new regulations? If he was interested, I can presume that now he is much more interested, no?

Its a difficult situation for me.

I would not chase the money but the strategy that is working for you. Sell this domain and maybe ask for a testimonial and go out and set up another and rinse and repeat and learn from your previous experience.

The buyer made the payment so that's the end of it.

You can't just tell them that you are getting more bids. They won't care. You sold it for a price and I don't think you can do anything about it.

No, not difficult. You know it's wrong but are trying to justify it.

You agreed - the money was paid - you either keep your word or you don't. It's your reputation on the line - no one else's.
