ClickBank Gravity Question

Hello,

I am new to IM and was looking at all the different products that CB has to offer. What I was noticing is that a lot of the different products that fall under my niche do not have the greatest gravity (people making sales). Should this stir me away from using it, or can i still be pretty successful with the product if I market it right?

Thanks and God bless!

I never, EVER let the gravity of a product affect my promotional decisions...

Gravity is simply the number of affiliates who have made at least 1 sale in the last XX number of days. Those 42/300 affiliates may have only made 1 sale each... but if they sent 1000 people to the offer, it's a bad conversion..

Focus on the quality of the product to fit your niche..

I have found some REAL gems hiding away in the low gravity spots.

A product creator might have a fantastic product, but lack the skill/marketing prowess to recruit affiliates.. this would leave him/her struggling to increase gravity.

If the product can solve a problem for the people in your niche.. gravity is meaningless.. in my opinion.

    Peace

Definitely agree with Jay there, although gravity is great from the vendors point of view, for the affiliate it does mean nothing. OK it means people are converting but as Jay mentioned it could convert terribly, even with new product launches that have high gravity those numbers are distorted by the amout of email marketing going on.

Instead I would focus on looking at the actual sales page and thinking whether you would buy the product and whether you can sell it.

    Good luck.
