Make money from porn. Has anyone ever done it?

Hello;

I am an engineer and design and develop database softwares like MySql. I am 30 and my girlfriend is 19.

There is an unexpected offer on the table I thought you fellows might be able to give me good comments!

My girlfriend offered me to make porn and post it on Porn hub!

I wont post links here because its against forum rules but from what I see on P-hub you can make up to 5K a month. Not too bad as passive income.

There are some challenges to win votes but I don't worry about it much since she has all qualities that make her stand out. Also P-hub seems to be legit too since it requires government id and signed documents from both parties.

I will be wearing mask so my identity will be protected.

Are there any potential problems you can see with this? If my identity is 100% hidden, would there be anything else that could go wrong?

Still amazes me how most people forget how short life is and instead of fun get into marriages and relationships they don't like.

    If you are actually creating your own content and have a woman willing to participate then you could to better than Porn Hub.

    Cam Sites can be much more attractive for females and couples. They are very popular and easy to promote. Places like Chaturbate and MyFreeCams offer free access to viewers who tip the performers.

    You can also sell your own videos and pictures privately at various sites that provide a storefront interface.

    Places like Porn Hub and Xhamster are good places to promote and drive traffic. Xhamster will let you promote your own stuff in exchange for sharing revenue with them as an affiliate.

    A couple of things:

    Like all other marketing building a list, building a name and cultivating a core base of "fans" is important to maximize revenue.

    Once this stuff is out there you can't get it back. Make sure you are comfortable with your videos floating around 10 years from now...

    The only problem I see is if you two break up someday, and especially if it is a heated breakup. Your wanting to keep your identity hidden might unravel in an embarrassing and public way that you end up regretting.

        If you value your reputation and credibility, not to mention your own health and well-being, you'll stay as far away from porn as you can get.

        It doesn't matter that you wear a mask or try to be anonymous . . . it WILL come back to bite you! There is a reason why most every legitimate business website has policies in place against associating with the porn industry (and gambling, hate sites, discrimination, and the rest of the web underworld).

    There are eastern european women who stick beer bottles in their ass for $3. Does she have those kind of qualities?

    Are you a videographer?

    Do you know video angles?

    Being hot and getting banged on video just doesn't cut it these days. The talent pool is very large.

    You'd probably be better off camming as a couple and building a repeat audience. Then record your cam sessions and uploading those for extra visibility on PH but bring them back to your social media and personal website to build and own your list/audience.

    If you mean that the people watching won't know it's you if you have a mask on, then maybe, but if you think that wearing a mask will stop anyone from finding out that you and your girlfriend do porn, I'm doubtful. That's quite a big secret, big secrets tend to slip out one way or another. The question is do you care if your family and friends, co-workers, your girlfriends family and friends etc found out what you were doing?     There are so many ways this could come back to bite you on the ass - I don't at all doubt there is income potential, but I very much doubt it's as simple as just sticking a video on a website - I think everything is the same, even porn, those who make the money with it are those who put everything into it, and I can't see a couple who make one or two videos and post them on a couple of porn sites would make that kind of money - it's very competitive.

    When I was agency side SEO, one of our clients was a sex toys company, wow talk about stiff competition... and I know that porn is even more competitive, I can't see it being the kind of industry where all you have to do is create one or two OK products (i.e a couple of videos) and the cash comes rolling in.

        As an entrepreneur, I don't care what my mum thinks either about my business decisions - but I'd be mortified if she discovered I was a secret porn star, haha.

        I'm curious as to why you have asked the question? You are asking if anyone sees any potential problems or if anything could go wrong, when they answer you say you don't care, you're an entrepreneur, you take risks etc., so if this is all true why ask the question?

    I'm wondering why you would come to the Warrior Forum to ask this question.

    There are numerous forums specific to the porn industry packed with people with real life experience in their chosen industry. There are forum specific to cam sites, adult affiliates, content producers, etc....

    You'll get a more reliable answer to your question jumping over to one of those forums. They will be able to suggest the best sites to use, how to market, which programs are legit and which ones rip you off.

    Not saying you can't post here, but I suspect you'll find better advice elsewhere on this particular topic.

      I've not researched this market much so I'm not even aware of the payment structure in place for places like PornHub. As others have stated though, one of the cam sites would probably be much better.

      You could build up a following there, record sessions to promote on PornHub and other places and eventually move everything to your own site, keeping all of the profits except what your payment processor charges.

      I'm not sure if these cam sites have some sort of clause in the contract that would prohibit you to do this. My guess is they do.

      I'd definitely read a contract or two from the cam sites though. I think this would be more lucrative.

        As for the money, there's a lot to be made. Porn-Hub isn't the best. Google "How to be an e-whore" will give you some ideas. You basically sell pictures and videos to perverts and take requests in exchange for $$$.

          I have been blessed to experience several relationships and a big lessons I learned is that almost every woman has that wild animal inside of her (like yourself) and she wishes secretly you'd bring it out for her. The female are happier when you let them be in touch with that side and I believe as a man, it's YOUR job to do it, at least to initiate it. otherwise she either never feels it or she'll find another guy who tries harder to connect with her.

            But I'd really check out the forums at GFY and Google for things like "selling your homemade porn", etc to find places to monetize.

            If you don't want to sell yourself, you can give it to a distributor who pays a royalty on sales.

            If you want to make big money you need to attract a following who looks for your stuff and is willing to pay for access to new stuff -as opposed to just googling your name and watching on all the sharing sites your content will show up on.

            A mailing list
            twitter
            snapchat
            skype

            Any social sharing site that allows pornographic content. So not facebook, for example

            If you go to chatubate and look at the profiles of some of the top models you can see many have twitter/blog/'fan club'. They can monetize directly through Chaturbate credits but you can use some of the same ideas to drive traffic to whatever commerce model you use.

            Have fun but get your ducks in a row and treat it like a business from the start.

            There is quite a bit of solid credible evidence about the evils and downsides to pornography. I know that it's easy to dispute or downplay how many lives have been ruined by it.

            Yes, you are free to believe what you may. You can falsely believe that there is no harm to anyone who is a part of the Internet porn industry.

            Have you ever considered the damage that porn does to all the innocent and young minds that see it? You know as well as anyone that kids find porn online all the time even though there are filters, blocks, and other kinds of deterrents in place.

            Porn has long been an important factor leading to domestic violence, bullying, rape, incest, and even murder. So while you may not worry about what porn will do to you or your girlfriend . . . have you ever stopped to consider what your participation in porn might do to those who view your products?

            I am an old guy, a senior citizen, and I can tell you without hesitation that this statement you made is very short-sighted: "while I am with her, I enjoy the ride, learn, experience and do things we both remember forever." You may remember your experience together . . . but it won't be a happy memory at all.

      There are two things I would consider (assuming there IS money to be made on that site and I don't know that)....

      You should assume your identity will be revealed at some point - mask or no mask. Do you only risk embarrassment? Or would an "outing" put your job/career/family at risk? I personally know three people who lost $60+k jobs over stuff they posted online...and it didn't reach the level of 'porn'. Only you can assess any potential risk and reward.

      Assuming the 19 yr old is a fun GF and not the future mother of your children - who owns the rights if you split?

    After looking a Porn Hub ToS, I would not recommend it. They simply revenue share the ads shown on your videos.

    If you are producing original content it would be better to sell it directly or have it distributed by a content licensing provider.

    Clips4Sale offers a full porn video, image and DVD sales platform and split revenues 60/40 in your favour.

    As someone mentioned earlier, there are better forums for help in the adult market.

    Like gfy.com forums that are aimed at adult webmasters and content producers.

    Even though you don't hear about it everyday, men and women catch STD's and even HIV from the porn actors that they have sex with. It's a dangerous industry - although very tempting. I know the pleasures are obvious, but 1 bad partner... and it could be a matter of life or death for you. I honestly would avoid it. Be a porn star to your girl. Impress her with your talents, and all will be good with your world. But don't upload to a porn site. Some people like to record themselves, and i guess it's fine. But if the tape is found and released.... imagine the shame and embarrassment from your family and friends... and even your job.

    This post has been at #1 all day so I guess I will add my 2 cents as well. I would probably do it as a personal copy before I would upload it to a porn site myself but I guess it all depends on how you feel about it. The only thing about adding anything on the internet is that it is accessible by everybody, can be shared with millions of people you may or may not know & it is also going to be online forever unless deleted. I'm guessing you've seen the movie "Sex Tape" and this is almost the opposite of that I guess but you also want to be sure that the wrong people don't end up seeing it as well. I couldn't imagine my friends, family, or anybody else that I knew ever seeing me and my woman like that though and I guess some things are meant to be behind closed doors for a reason. There are easier ways to make money that don't involve having to know that somebody else is probably checking out your gf and doing you know what

      I was flippant in my first reply to this but I can see you're actually serious.

      Seriously, if you give a crap about your girlfriend do not have her do porn.

      You really think she'll want any future kids and their friends seeing their Mum getting stuffed on a pornchannel? You think she'll be able to truly hide this in the future, it will get out somehow, guaranteed.

      I just can't see the sense in this at all. These things seem quite the plan when your 19, give it 10 years and it's likely to be her biggest regret - by far.

      The porn industry is horrible, read up on the trail of devastation it leads to with the girls who enter it so naively .

      Plus there's so little money in it now, 15 years ago it was a solid business, now the proliferation of online porn means there's little money to go around and everything is pirated to death. Your GF will be on a million affiliate sites and copy cat sites within the hour of your posting it on a major channel.

      You won't get paid for any of it.

      As far as your missus being a 10/10. You would be amazed how ropey most porn stars are without being done up.

      A porn star isn't made by how attractive she is. She's made by what she can manage to deal with, how much of a fanbase she can create and the girls which actually make anything more than beer money have been at it a long time, do all kinds of shit your GF probably won't be huge fan of by day 200.

      Honestly, of all the ways to make a buck, I can't think of many worse.

      The guys getting rich in porn are the site owners not the participants.

      I would wager my next child that your chances of earning $5k a month are slim to none by posting up a few pics of you banging your missus unless you're hung like a donkey and she can go full on whore mode. There's so much porn now, there's a million girls doing exactly what you're discussing.

        I have been blessed to experience several relationships and a big lessons I learned is that almost every woman has that wild animal inside of her (like yourself) and she wishes secretly you'd bring it out for her. The female are happier when you let them be in touch with that side and I believe as a man, it's YOUR job to do it, at least to initiate it. otherwise she either never feels it or she'll find another guy who tries harder to connect with her.

    She is 19. Take my word for this as a 35 year old woman...most of us don't know wtf we're really doing at 19 ! We don't usually make the best decisions at that age. You're 30. You should know this. You should be thinking about your girlfriend's future, because it doesn't sound like she is right now.

    I realize that you are probably not thinking past your ' expiration date ' but guess what ? Her life will go on after, and she will probably regret it, especially once she has kids. You should be thinking about that kind of thing, over cashing in on your 10/10 girlfriend.

    There used to be a lot of money in the porn industry in the early 2000's, but these days I doubt it. Unless you own one of the bigger tubes like xhamster, pornhub, theporndude, youporn, etc, but as a small affiliate, you're not gonna be earning a lot.
