how do you handle page vs post when siloing in wp site?

just use the page without post when siloing or how do you mix them up?

    I use pages for steady contents like policy, disclaimers etc and categories and sub-categories for siloing wp site. Hardly ever go down to 3 levels just keep it to 2 levels. If required build new categories or sub-categories.

    The use of pages verse posts all depends on what kind of site you want to build, a traditional website or a blog type site.

    The use of siloing is usually done with pages and posts are done with structuring categories.

    The below video will help you understand proper silos.



    Now that I have searched this out for you, can you please tell me why you could not have done the same? Watching a Youtube video can help you understand much better than a forum post.

      I don't think OP didn't think he could use a search engine to find information about siloing. People come to discussion forums like this one to ask questions from the forums users and even spark interesting discussion. You might notice that lots of the posts on this forum contain ideas that are already published on other web sites and indexed by Google.

      OP asked a very specifiic question, "how do you handle page vs post when siloing in wp site?". (emphasis added). He apparently wants to ask the members of the WarriorForum how they handle pages and posts for siloing rather than use a search engine. It may be that he want's to hear what WF members are doing. There's not a thing wrong with that and if he's inconveniencing you by asking, then don't reply.
