have you ever experienced when you open your wp site then it's redirected to a url that you didn't set?
It means unwanted person set it there.

It happens in 1 hosting multiple times in several websites there, hosted in shared hosting.

    The most common problem might be that the site has malicious code. It may be in theme file or the plugin you used. Do a virus scan of your site and you might find out if there are any. Usually it happens on free themes available online.

    My friend had a similar situation where his site was getting redirected to a youtube video. We then did a virus scan and found out that there was malicious code in a plugin he was using. He removed it and the site started working again.

    It happend to me one time.
    Contact the support to set your Nameservers back to default and then it should work again.
    It happend to me when i tried to set up Cloudflare.

      That actually sound like you may have been pointing to the incorrect server IP address in your DNS settings. We don't do anything that would forward it to a different site or IP.

    It can be a very troublesome problem you are facing.

    There are a few scenarios possible. It can come from the theme that you have downloaded from the web which include a script to redirect your traffic (generally starting by base_eval64)

    It can come from your own PC and Filezilla XML which got stolen taking all your FTP credentials (yes it happens)

    Or it can come from your web hosting provider with a poor server security. (that should come last if the others don't check out, since it is unlikely)

    This doesn't sound like a hosting problem but more so a problem with the site itself. Do you have a link to the site we could take a look at so replicate the problem?

    This happens due to presence of malicious codes running or executing in your site. Better scan it with verified anti malware program. Only use themes and plugins from verified sources.

    I would recommend installing a free plugin called Wordfence and then doing a scan of your site. This plugin will alert you to any malicious code and will also let you know when any of the files that make up your site have been altered in any way. It's also got a bunch of other cool security features such as IP blocking, etc.

    If that doesn't work contact your hosting provider and request they scan your site for malware. This is how I solved the issue when it happened to me a year or so ago.

    A regular WordPress site showed up for me, albeit slowly.

    But it's worth installing WordFence - it's a good plugin.

    And it would be worth running a malware scan on your own computer just in case something's affecting that.
