Best free way to measure and analyse my website traffic 2015?

I just created a website with a wordpress theme.
I'm about to start driving traffic to it.
I want to know the best free way I can use to monitor my website traffic, including number of visitors, where my visitors are coming from, what pages they are viewing most, what links they're clicking and how long they are staying.
Which method is most effective currently in this 2015, since i know the internet is quite dynamic and what was best in 2012 may not be what is best now.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
PS: I've done a search using both WF's native search and using Google to search the WF, and didnt come up with anything really helpful and current, don't know if there is some issue with the search algorithms currently.

You are struggling to find the solution you are looking for because you want something for nothing. You are looking for a free tools that will do everything for you for free. Come on seriously?

If you are serious about building a real business you need to invest. Invest in tools that will give you the advantage. Like Crazy Egg, Click Magik, or prosper 202. Google analytics is a good place to start but eventually if you want to grow then you need to invest in better tools.

I just use Clicky, which I really enjoy since you can see your visitors in real timer. Or, Google Analytics which offers more complex information that might be useful for you.

You can also try Woopra, I've tried it before in one of my site and it was really cool. The real time traffic analyser is superb and it has lots and lots of parameters. However due to Google's ability to interface with Adsense, adwords, etc. Google Analytic is highly recommended for e-commerce/business sites.

I use Google analytics, but I have been having Hit from sites that do not exist or is full of garbage.I asked below in the analytics section of this forum and one person said that has been a problem with Google analytics. There are just bots that do not actually hit my site, but are registered in my analytics and only Google can fix that. so for now I have my doubts with Google analytics and I am also looking for an alternative.

Google Analytics is without a doubt the way to go and not complicated to setup. You even can access results and statistics right from your site dashboard through plugin etc.
