New Home Construction Leads - % to charge bidder?

Hi Warriors,

So after months, well years, of building micro-sites home improvement sites we are starting to see the benefits, and are receiving a lot of construction leads.

We are reaching out to construction companies via Google search (just emailing)? Any better suggestions?

Also, what % can we expect for a lead?

Say a $300,000 home, is 5% too much to ask (15k)?

    $15K for a lead?

    I have no experience with new home construction leads, but I can tell you $15K is never going to happen.

    $15k for a lead? I agree. That ain't gonna happen. There's a big differents in being interested enough to type your info in on a website for more information and opening your wallet for a $300,000 purchase.

    The key is how many leads they close. If you're giving them good leads, and they're closing them, they'll likely pay more.

    If you're confident they can close them, you may want to look into charging per buyer you send that way.

    Thats a pretty general thing to ask. If you've been in the business for "years" then shouldn't you have that number down pat based off your past conversions. Not making sense.
