Fulfillment by Amazon

Hello, I hope you guys/chaps can help.

I am considering using FBA to sell a niche product, okay, I have looked at pricing and things seem to be going okay, but like everything in business there are bottlenecks; Long Term Fees.

Now, does anyone on here use FBA, ARE those fees (UK £882.50) only applied to products NOT selling, so if I have an item I need to replenish often (there is always hope) does this NOT apply because it has technically not been there long term?

The way I have read it is, this is short term, i.e get in and if you have not sold enough get out within the year before long term fees apply!! I intend only to start off small but £882.50 could cripple me because I am 'starting out'!

Can anyone put my mind at ease one way or the other?

Best wishes,

Stuart

    Hi Stuart,

I think your thread belong in the ecommerce site section of the warriorforum.

I'm personnaly in the process of lauching my first Amazon product and so I did research on FBA. From what I understand the fba fees applied only when you actually sell an item, but there are selling fees of course.

What is the £882 for ? Amazon selling fees or fba fees ? Since we don't know about your profit margin, how much items you sell each month and so on it's difficult to advise you on what to do.
