Requesting Approval of Products

How long does it take to get approved to promote affiliate products?

Is there a way to get approved any quicker than through the affiliate network?

I am trying to start a affiliate campaign but have not been approved for the products I want to promote. What can I do to get approved. I have waited 3 weeks for an approval on the product I want to promote the most. Any strategies?

Suggestions?

Any certain way I need to request for approval?

      Requesting Warriorplus at this time.

Will take suggestions for JVzoo though if anyone has any.

It can be quite frustrating. Recently, at Warror Plus I requested Approval for a Black Friday Product 10 days ago. I emailed this person and PMed them multiple times.

They did approve another product similar during that time and I got sales off that.

But I really wanted to promote this particular Black Friday product. But it's too late now.

In other cases, I automatically get them Approved.

        So it varies.

But I feel for you. Not much you can do other than contacting them

Like Robert said, it can be frustrating. Never know what the product owner is doing, how often they check for requests. Usually it's a couple days from what I've seen.

Or track them down, maybe they hang out somewhere, on a forum, their social accounts?

I was searching for an answer to this very question. Thanks for starting the thread. Is it the time of the year, or do some people just take forever to approve in general?

Warrior Plus - a lot of vendors will auto approve once you get above a decent number of sales (varies by vendor as it's settable in Warrior+ config), maybe auto approve you for every offer (I do that for affiliates who regularly make sales) or even pre-approve you for new offers.

Until then, messaging works reasonably well although some slip through the net for whatever reason. So treat it as a numbers game initially until you start making sales on a regular basis at which stage the numbers start to tip in your favour.

Different vendors like to be contacted in different ways - often the JV page will tell you but if it doesn't then track them down on here or Facebook (there are various groups there for product launches and if you're actively making fairly sensible comments in those my guess is that approval will be more likely to happen).

JVZoo is different. Unlike Warrior+ their system doesn't bother to send out an email when an affiliate requests approval so it's up to the vendor to check which usually happens pre-launch, not always as often once the product is established (I know I was late with quite a few approvals as I'd expected notifications).

One thing to consider if you have waited for 3 weeks is that maybe the vendor is out of business. Sometimes people just quit but never delete their sites or remove products from affiliate network. I would try contacting via their contact or support link on the sales page.

If you have no luck contacting then just find another product

I don't know which JVZ you are using but I always get affiliate request emails, and have for several years.

    Suggestions?
Patience. Maybe they just ignored your request. Maybe you don't appear like you would be a good affiliate. Maybe they are not interested in working with inexperienced marketers. There are many possibilities.

I've had some on both JVZoo and Warrior Plus take a few hours to approve; others days; others weeks; and some months. Lol. I even had a couple of sellers who didn't approve until after a year.

During product launches though, it's usually pretty quick for approvals. No more than a day usually, and some within an hour.

It's going to take time most of the times. With Clickbank you have to give them a few days. Patience is key though. When you finally get the approval, it's time for you to shine with your marketing skills.

I can honestly tell you depending on the price point of the product, getting approved can be a hassle. You can go and apply all willy nilly with anyone and everyone you like and the crazy part is, the ones you really might want to promote are:

    1. either all filled up so much in the search engine(s) that it does not even make sense
    2. never going to approve you because you are some no name person, to start with
    3. promoted by every internet marketer and their mother, father, granddad, grandmom, anyone who can work a computer, etc.

These factors could be wrong though, but it is slim for a breakthrough in #1. #2 is easier to overcome because in this field of IM (like the rest of them), with persistence and hard work sales will come. Depending on the product and the person selling it, #3 could be bothersome.

The worst is when you actually get approved for a product and you can't properly promote it due to the lack of a. a sample or b. swipes or other forms of promotion.

I have ran off of a tangent enough though. Today, the way I look to get approved is just to note what I'm going to do with the promotion of the product (and then hope to get approved [review copies are very doubtful when you're not early-early-earlybird to the launch]).

Just don't hit up the vendor 5 times in one day lol (I never did that though, just saying).

All comments are worth readying but last line of your comment is funny but it's in very basic communication manners.

If a vendor is not approving/replying you, 3 reasons can be possible:
      1. He already has in partnership with lots of successful affiliate and he is not interested for more affiliates or beginners.
      2. He got busy in some other serious business.
      3. He is no more interested in that product promotion.

So fact of the matter is; don't keep sending messages. There are Plenty of other Products in market to promote.
