Where to register a free .com domain name?

I am looking for a website that allows you to take a ".com" domain name for free...I am aware of "dot.tk", but they only have ".tk" domain names - I am looking for a free ".com". Preferably free forever. Thank you.

    You can't get it for free! By you can try grabbing some coupons from any store and own the domain at less cost.

    Or you can even go with free hosting sites. There are plenty of them, Google it

    If you can't afford your own domain name then you should not even start at all. Paying for a domain name is important and no one on earth will give you one for free.

    no one on earth will give you one for free.
    You can get a "free" domain for "life" with some hosting accounts. "Life" is the life of your hosting account. If you cancel hosting, you have to pay to keep the domain.

    Free domains is difficult, however, sometimes domain registars have $1/domain promotions. If it is not urgent you can wait for such a promotion.

    Even if you get a free .com domain with a hosting company you still have to pay for the hosting so you have to pay something one way or another.

    Most .com's are taken these days anyway.

    Btw the Go Daddy offer above ^ is a good offer. You can't get cheaper than that.

    An alternative option would be to go for another domain extension.

    You can get domain for free like for a year like promo action from big hosting provider like a2hosting , godaddy and hostgator but I really doubt that you will get domain for free for life . Subdoman propably like www.someting.wordpress.com but not domain

    Do yourself a favour and don't be afraid to spend the small amount of money it costs to buy your .com domain. If you're not willing to invest into your own business why should anyone else?
