How Come Flippa websites have traffic in 3 month?

Hi guys,

I am writing because I am really confuse here, I was trying to buy a website in flippa but many websites are 2 and 3 month all but have 13.000 visits and 20.000 visits a month, and make alot of money in adsense... The strange thing is that they have verified adsense revenue

How is that possible?, I know you can purchase traffic from the web, but that may block their Adsense account.....

I also have seen in their analytics that must of their traffic are Organic, I have been trying to get organic traffic for a year now and I still suffering.

please help me

That is a great question, I have this same question in my head all the time and i keep checking flippa for clues, I have even tried contacting some of the sellers and they refuse to tell me. They only give out "THE SECRET" to their buyers.

Don't buy sites being sold with those figures. As already said, they are obtained with 'black hat' methods.

I know of one Warrior who made the mistake of purchasing just such a site from Flippa, only to discover that it had been de-indexed by Google and once that's happened it's difficult, sometimes impossible to get it re-indexed again.

  • Some people know how to get traffic to their sites it doesn't have to be a lie it could be real.

I might have to disagree. I have personally sold a site on flippa and it was an info product website, others sell blogs and service websites and get good reviews. They are not all bad.

I didn't say most are not scams I said some are not! Reading this thread sounds like none of them are getting legitimate traffic that is not true!

Most of those sites are probably scams. The people buy traffic to inflate the stats then sell at a premium. As soon as you buy, they turn off the traffic, and you're left with a worthless website.

It really depends on the website. Some just did a good launch and some are huge scams. I think you also noticed, like I did, that recently there are many sites popping up with only three months of traffic. It's like a new trend and almost always there is something odd with the traffic when you check in detail, e.g. very high bounce rate or coming from countries that do not make sense for the website etc.
