Newbie here with a quick question. With all of the programs out there, what ones have you purchased, used, and loved that helped you grow your business. Cost is important but not the biggest concern. I just want to start fast.

LOL! It is from a program I purchased and tried but haven't seen results from at this point. I feel like the opt in page looks pretty decent but it's not converting at all. Any tips that you use for higher conversion?

First of all, the book looks low quality. I don't care what's inside at this point, but it looks low quality. Remove that spiral bound book and replace it with a thicker book, without the spiral bound. It makes it look cheap.

Your headline is : How to make HUGE money as an affiliate.

Try to be more specific. On the internet, for some reason, the more specific that you are, the more people trust you.

Are you sure that people that will land on this page know what an affiliate is at this point?

Don't call it an ebook. Ebook sounds like a piece of junk. Call it a program, or a manual, a document, etc.

Change the font and size, color of bullet points. This does not grab the attention and makes it hard to read.

Go on leadpages.com and copy what they do.

What are you doing to get conversions?

IE: are you funneling traffic into the thing?

And if you are, make sure to learn how to create 'targeted' traffic in order to get those conversions.

There is nothing wrong with that page. But it will need a constant supply of targeted traffic into it in order for it to convert into leads.

Stop looking for the magic bullet!!

You have to figure it out for yourself--what works for you.

What works for me and my unique skills & situation would NOT work for you. Absolutely 100% certain it wouldn't.

And what works for you probably wouldn't work for me.

But get down to the essence of marketing.

Find a target market you want to help.

Discover what important problem they admit to having (this is key, and often overlooked; you cannot just jump up and down saying "You have this problem!" and expect them to buy; they must believe they have it.) Learn what specific words they use to describe this problem and their uncomfortable situation.

Get a competent solution for that problem in place. Important = more $. That's important to you, isn't it?

Find out where your target market is gathering.

Figure out a way to send them from you find them to where you want them to go, ie. your opt in page, your sales page, your webinar, etc.

Now use the specific words (these are called "pain points") to write your copy. By using their pain points, your description of their situation will resonate. "Hey, I'm in this horrible place!" and you get instant credibility.

Then offer them the solution, the way Out of their uncomfortable situation.

    Some will buy.

A key is you must get sufficient traffic to your offer.

Many people grossly underestimate what it will take to get a sale, especially that FIRST sale. Your methods are untested. Your copy is unproven. It could be horrible. It might take a thousand clicks to get that first sale...and 755 more to get the second.

What you are now looking for is CONSISTENCY.

On average, how many views does it take to get a sale?

    This is called your baseline.

Now you can improve it. You have only two ways to improve it: on the Traffic side, or the Conversion side.

You can improve the quality of your traffic sources. The better the pre-qualified traffic you send into the funnel, the better the results you'll see out the other side.

You can boost the conversion power of your copy.

Probably your best bang for your buck will be to first concentrate on finding sufficient and reliable sources of pre-qualified traffic.

Now I'm sure you'll complain, "Yeah, but where's the MONEY? What niche, what product should I promote?" And the answer is IT DOESN'T MATTER.

    It really doesn't matter.

As long as you follow the path I have laid out, you will make it.

The key is sticking with the path longer than the three lousy days most people chase a shiny object for and then lose interest with, and tweaking traffic and conversion **one variable at a time** until you get results. And then you can improve upon those results.

I have just shared what I charge for on a coaching call, and experienced marketers are delighted to learn these facts. Throwing traffic at a wall and hoping something sticks is what 99% of marketers do, and that's why nobody is making any money. "To manage we must measure," and I have shown you how to measure.

But because I did it for free, you probably won't value it. That's OK. It leaves plenty of room for paying clients.

You'll find some great products in the war room. You need to get familiar with some of the proven and tested business models and then choose one. You also need to figure out what niche you're going to focus on. After that it will mainly come down to mastering traffic and conversions.

There is no fast way You first need to understand. IM is all about supply and demand and getting targeted traffic hopefully to a landing page. Over 90% of the people in this industry simply go for the end result which is the money part and they will NEVER see it! Its sad but it's true.

The thing to do is go out and find people that are successful and learn from them Making money online is all about supply and demand and using this tool of the Internet to market to a worldwide audience

    Hey Dominate, (cool name btw)
Without recommending a particular strategy, let me first start
by welcoming you to the entire world of internet marketing.

This business has many paths. You'll probably try more than one before you
gravitate to something that 1) works, and 2) you enjoy doing.

Most of us have. I know I spent 6 entire months writing mindless blog posts about things I knew nothing
about, in order to earn passive income from google advertising.

I bought a few courses back then about it too, and yet after 6 months I earned a grand total of $38!

Not very passive, and for 6 months work, about enough to pay for a couple pizzas. LOL

But eventually I got my stride, and over a few years built things up to be a regular 6 figure earner.

The key thing to know is:
    1) Be a sceptic, but not a cynic.
I.E.. not everything you hear is true, but as well, not everything you see is false.
Use a healthy scepticism to evaluate whatever it is you are thinking
    2) Stay positive.. not every day will be perfect, but you'll eventually get your stride, and things will start to click.
    3) Learn from people that have been there before.
    4) I don't know how much time you have for this, but try to spend some each day on INCOME PRODUCING ACTIVITIES, and also a little on LEARNING the science of it all.
    5) Don't be afraid to opt-in to some people lists, but don't let every email that comes your way sidetrack you from your objectives.

I hope that little bit of advice helps.

All the best, and welcome aboard.

Just my take on this but if I was you I would start your own blog asap (if you haven't already!) and get posting top quality content, with a bit of SEO thrown in for good measure.

Not too much time on SEO though, the contents more important.

Spend a good amount of time surfing through Warrior and over on YouTube and become an information sponge, seriously mate, get in there and soak it all up!

Get yourself establised online, can you be found by someone typing your name into the big G, do you have Facebook, Twitter, Google + profiles etc.?

Then start looking for a decent mentor program to help you with the rest of it and to start making serious money.

I floated around for years buying shiny objects and all the time I could have been increasing my 'presence' online. Oh for a time machine!

      Good luck
      Jon

You start fast and successful only in a limited number of cases.

    Usually, the factors are:

    - You know something more about a niche / industry than the current market leaders
    - You are able to tunnel this knowledge into a working product / service, best if it's not an info product.
    - You have the know-how or the community connections to market the product in a cost-effective or free manner
    - You can keep costs to a minimum and keep a selling margin, i.e., invest very little in PPC and similar expensive endeavours.

P.S. Must be an in a niche that is already profitable / developed, so no "Best Guide to Keeping your Parrot".

P.P.S. No signature like the one you already have, it disconnects you from the community.

I will modify these a little.

      1. You must know something more about a niche/industry than your buyers.

      2. Why do you say it's best if it's not an info product? I do almost exclusively client work and can tell you selling products that don't require client interaction is much easier.

      3. Connection to a distribution channel (which is what the Sharks on Shark Tank offer) is a plus when you're starting out; however, you have to give something away--equity or profit--to access it. So in the long term it's best to build your own.

      4. Cost reduction is not the goal. Profitability is. If I have to spend $200 to make $250, I'll do it. This is how most businesses make money. They spend $1 with the plan of making $1.20 or $1.30. And that's when they know what they're doing. The newbie thinks they're going to spend $200 and make $2000...or $10000...which is wishful thinking for now at least.

Look at how large affiliate launches go. The manager boasts about making 6 figures...and giving most of it away in commissions. The central figure is happy to keep 5 figures.

Cost reduction or minimization is not the key. Developing a profitable baseline and improving up on it is.

There is a lot of training out there and I've tried a few. If I could go back in time, I would check out some of the training in warrior plus. You'll probably find something that costs a fraction of what other want to charge. Try to find something that has videos and uses the "look over my shoulder" approach. I think those are the best. Just my opinion. Do your research and look at the reviews other warrior members say about the product. Good Luck- Scott

This is the summation of all, in my opinion, you need to know:
      1. Choose a niche based on the following advice. If you have some cash to invest: follow the money, outsource some amazing content, pay to drive traffic. If you haven't got the cash to spend: go for a market you are interested in because you are going to have to do ALOT of the heavy lifting yourself & need the motivation
      2. Learn your customer inside out. Map everything you can find out about them. Age, gender skew, products, vices, motivations, etc. This is your building block for everything to come.
      3. Set up platforms to connect to where your customers are. If you need an ecommerce site for multiple products, set one up. If you need to start a podcast, get a mic and a good podcast plugin/website setup. Marketing physical products to 18-35 year olds then set up instagram. You get the point
      4. Create content for each of your customer types at each part of their purchase journey. Set a clear funnel in mind for each piece of content - which product does it promote, how does it help them etc. Drive traffic through every means you can.
      5. Test, Rinse, Repeat

Everything is based around these steps. EVERYTHING.

Do each of those steps, in order and I promise you that you will succeed on-line.

The fastest method isn't buying any courses but actually to get a mentor.

Trust me, if you're a newbie you could be wasting your time searching for useful information for years and not getting anywhere... not making money.

A mentor will help you tremendously.

You need to find a successful person who can guide you through the actions to take to become successful too.

      How much will it cost?

      Could be a lot!

But you can find someone who is happy to teach you as an apprentice or employee.

It depends on what type of business model you want to pursue. Do you want to build an affiliate marketing business, create your pwn products, generate leads or earn money with Google adsense etc.. ?

After you figure that out then look for some good products or coaching programs to help you get started.

I would recommend affiliate marketing/ cpa marketing business model using a wordpress site and start building some lists.

There are a few good WSOs on here that can get you started in the right direction.

As far as IMO domain concerned, there is no magic-bullet to overnight riches. Any IM techniques require some learning curve to be mastered, and surely it will cost you (time or money).

I don't know why so many people in pain for this and expecting some remarkable relief. Worse, they would end up shelling their deep pockets and buy products after products expecting solutions to overcome their woes just to find themselves back to square one in the end.

The best advice I can give for you when trying internet marketing is get yourself some presence online. I mean, take actions on what you read and if possible try to get a mentor to shorten your learning curve. You come online to make money so take actions to bring you there instead of buying products that would only left you collecting dust and fill up your drive. Come up with your own products, that's where your list and money will come in.
