My best suggestion is to ignore all the PM's you're now going to get.

You need to spend some time on this forum figuring out exactly what business method you want to learn before you spend one dime.

Also, if you have the affinity for movies/TV/fiction, I'd recommend going the ghostwritten fiction route.

I've had tons of success outlining books, then having ghostwriters complete those books, and selling them through Kindle.

Lots of good threads and posts on this forum on the specifics of doing that, but you could get a few good books for $3k and make a dang good return over time.

Save your mony and do not be in a rush to blow through it! Create yourself a unique landing page around an affiliate promotion and you can invest in some solo ads but like myself I save a lot of money than doing solo ads with PPC traffic and banner ads. What ever you decide to do START SMALL meaning only spend at most a hundred bucks and make sure you are converting first.

you could invest in training, training and knowledge is key so before you buy traffic for example learn how to test, optimise and get the greatest ctr!!

On paid traffic sources you can try PPC (Google, Bing and FB ads). You can also spend some time or invest some money into content marketing and youtube marketing. Both strategies take some time and effort but work.

Kindle hands down, even a 10 year old could do Kindle. All you have to do is find a profitable niche, get the content ghostwritten(or write it yourself), get a cover done and some reviews.
Amazon will do most of the promoting for you, go ahead and try it out. A book usually costs me anywhere from 50-200$ to get written. Once you get the ball rolling you should be able to get a positive ROI on your book within 2-6 months.
This is only my opinion, you could also try to start a solo ads business(never tried this myself but one of my friends is into it)

I'm sorry, but if that's how Kindle "works" then it sounds like it completely sucks. 2-6 months?... With only 3k I would want to do something that is either fast, or has a very high ROI.

Options:
find a distributor and sell physical products, 3k can get you started, and it can scale huge

start sites and do affiliate marketing, 3k is enough for 3 sites with 75+ pages of content each, you would have to source it cheap and heavily edit it. advantage: you have lots of options, can be slow, but it can have high ROI

build one landing page/site, work with an affiliate, and buy paid advertising into it: advantage: fast, but 3k is not really enough to really work with affiliates through paid advertising. If you manage to get a working campaign, the ROI might only be 115% and then you have to wait for the payments to keep going.

create your own digital product and recruit affiliates: advantage high ROI, but it could flop entirely

Depending on your niche you can look into advertisement with Facebook or Twitter. You don't "have to" spend that must on advertisement to see success though. Start small and try several options. Don't put your eggs all in one basket as they say.

If I ware you, I would try in many ways to increase my site traffic. There are many ways. you can follow multiple way also if you want. You need to do SEO to increase your site traffic & Page rank also. So you can create back link in any way. Such as Forum posting, Relevant Blog commenting, Article submission & so on. Thanks a lot.

I've spent thousands on traffic because I know it works. It's a numbers game. The more leads, the more sales. But when it comes to paid traffic you want to have a fund you can draw on weekly without constantly dipping into your own pocket.
I have a strategy that works very well and takes a few weeks to implement. But once done, you will be getting leads on a daily basis and buying traffic every week/daily.
