Low cost and high quality not often go together.

The best traffic is generated by SEO: it is free. You write good content around good keywords.

But if you want paid traffic, the best sources are Facebook Ads and Google Adword.

    Good luck!

Best traffic is not always SEO since SEO is not dependable it comes and goes and changes based on google emotions. While paid traffic if good is always there.

    That depends on your offer.

Personally, my favorite traffic source is Facebook PPC.

It's not the cheapest, but I've never had luck with "cheap" traffic.

I sell high ticket (more than $1997) programs and services, so I can afford to purchase better quality traffic and still come away with big profits.

For me, it's always more important to focus on building a bigger, better funnel. Traffic is going to cost what traffic is going to cost.

What I have control over is how much I make from the traffic.

For example, let's say that I'm getting $.15 clicks to a landing page that converts that 60%.

The means that I am getting leads into my autoresponder for about $.25.

There is very little that I can do about that particular number. I can work on the landing page a little bit, I can tweak the ad creative a little bit, but ultimately leads are going to cost will leads are going to cost.

My job is to figure out how I can turn those $.25 leads into one dollar a month, or $10 a month or $33 per month (which is my current earnings per lead per month).

The way I do the create more products. Create better products. Create higher-priced programs. Etc.

When traffic increases in price (as it inevitably will) I will simply increase prices or create even more robust programs that allow me to charge more.

If you are doing affiliate marketing or something like that, and you don't have control over product prices etc. you can still use this process. Just go after bigger and better affiliate offers. They are out there, you have to look, but you can find them.

Generally speaking, most of the best ad sources are not cheap (and that's to be expected).

With that being said, I've heard a lot of marketers report on how affordable PPV traffic is, and also Bing PPC.

YouTube's video ads are another source you might want to consider; it sure seems to work well for Homer Simpson! https://www.youtube.com/yt/advertise/

The ultimate low cost ... yet high quality traffic ... is to be found on your own subscriber list.

Don't have a list yet? That should be your focus then.

Build your list first - then do your advertising.

PPC and PPV are 2 great paid traffic sources. PPV usually offers cheaper traffic, but requires bigger campaigns than PPC.

You can also use free traffic sources like guest posting and Youtube marketing. They do require some work but will get you some extra subscribers and customers.

The best one I know of for "High Quality" advertising is Facebook advertising. I'm interested in reading more replies to see what other people think is the best. Although I haven't personally tried it yet I heard that Linkedin is very good for getting B2B customers.

You will always get what you pay for in life. Quality will always cost you more.

Now regarding best traffic for affiliate marketing?

There is no best traffic source that will fit everyone (even if everyone was marketing the same product).

Traffic converts differently for each individual.

If you have a product in high demand ppv and social media ads are in reach. Business listings are effective and low cost. Most business directories are free; while some have an annual fee. Consumers searching for your product or service will find them in the search engines.

I have few conversions with Adf.ly but make sure the affiliate network accepts them

I have got to say that it has lots of untargeted & junk traffic though
