      More with paid Ads than those others you mention. Particularly Bing.

      Getting back a little bit into SEO. But mostly a natural type of SEO. Just writing really good content for a new Site and doing some occasional Blog Commenting.

        I agree you should test to find out what works for you.

        In my own experience, I've always had the most extraordinary success through syndicating articles in online/offline publications.

        This was never dependent on SEO, as all traffic came directly from the publications without any expense.

    Use social media sites like Facebook,Twitter for website promotion and also to get target people.

    If there's one thing I honestly just don't understand it's the question "How do I get more people to come to my website?".

    If it was that easy, everyone would be doing it. There's no one true, surefire way to increase exposure to any given website, rather it's loads of hark work, effort, and numerous failures before a website begins receiving traction.

    There's no magic tip, no tool that will immediately give you 1,000 unique visits overnight, and whoever tells you otherwise is lying or is a fool.

      If its a viral news site I do know one formula, but again its not all in ones control. It depends on a viral story thats shocking, and speed of writing.

    I grew mine slow and steady by putting out content, facebook posts, youtube videos, Instagram pics and commenting on other people's channels. I've got 18K Instagram, 16K YouTube, 10K Facebook. Create a lead magnet to collect emails. Slow and steady wins the race. I haven't done any SEO or paid ads.

  • To each his own way, everybody's different. It's also depending on your niche and type of products you're pushing. I personally like to create lasting relationships via emails and skype chats, for traffic you want something with "hot" customers ready to buy or to gather the information you're throwing at them. SEO is a leader for articles, Video Marketing is also good to drive traffic and to strengthen relationships.

    Hello, your question is very actuality for a lot of people who are afraid to open their business online! In my own experience it can be easier and more interesting! I opened my first "business" online than I was 18 years old! It was sale my "second hand")))), but it was very cool! I buy something for myself and something of my clothes I just exchange for something more interesting! For 3 months I have made more than 300$ and I was very happy! And tell me, why not?

    Creating or starting an online business was easy but sustainability in competition is not. I believe every business is unique and designated or operated for the unique customer so your approach also should same. There are many ways you can improve your online sales but it should be ROI. I can suggest you few techniques which are well known in the industry and proven.

    1. Choose the Right Platform to build your business or if existing do Migrate to a suitable one.
    2. Sell What customers looking for not what you have.
    3. Write enough content for each product and whereas requires like About us, privacy policies, Terms and Conditions etc.
    4. Do proper SEO or Hire a person or seek freelancer.
    5. If you are selling fashion or accessories kind of product built a strong presence on Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook etc.
    6. Social media optimization can definitely show the positive impact on sales but ultimately product/service quality is key.
    7. I never recommend Paid ads in earlier stages but fine by doing so.
    8. E-mail marketing is a great tool and plays the most significant role in Digital marketing. ( I supposed to place the list in first. )
    9. SMS marketing / Coupons / Flash sales are too great drivers of sales.
    10. Choose a right tool and rock your online business.

    There different strategies that you can use depending on whether you have a budget or not. Free traffic methods such as Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, Istagram, linkedIn and the like are a good way to go. Work on your ad copy and content. If you have capital study paid methods such as Solo ads which is a great way to get yourself or product out there fast. But remember to master ad copy and content. Very Important.
