Advice needed for selling E-book please

Hi all!

Have an E-book that I want to sell. Not sure the best way to get it out there and methods to use?

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

    You could either upload to kindle, and only earn the royalties. You will still need to promote it though.

    Or could could just upload it to your own content-filled website, and earn the full sale price. Again, you will still need to promote it.

    You can also do both methods providing you don't use amazons KDP select program, which restricts you from having your book available anywhere else on the web besides on Amazon.

        Promoting your book via. Amazon is done the same way as promoting your book via. Your own website.

        You simply promote the LINK that leads to the sales page of your book. This is done using any traffic building method.

    What is the general view on Kindle? I worried that if I send everyone to Kindle then I'd lose sales as they'd start to look at the competition, analysis paralysis would set in and it wouldn't work out.

    Truthfully I am selling not much higher than Kindle's maximum price, so maybe it might be worth looking at for me too.

    Try to sell it via multiple platforms. Publish it on kindle, ibooks, lulu and other related self publishing platform. if you have a website and traffic or fan base you can set up a landing page and can send direct traffic to that page. for payment purpose you can use gumroad etc.

      Since it's in the diet niche, you can also consider selling it via Clickbank as it's a very popular & established marketplace to sell information products in many different types of niches including health & dieting.

      Same time, you can consider setting up an affiliate program as well at Clickbank, where affiliates can help you to promote your eBook in exchange for a fixed commission. Getting affiliates to promote your eBook is another good way to complement the other methods mentioned above. In fact, you can try reaching out right here in the WarriorForum itself & visit the JV section, to ask whether any members will be keen to promote your eBook as an affiliate.

    I've written a short ebook and a fuller length Kindle book (which was #1 on USA Kindle for the Management and Leadership category earlier this year).

    What worked really well for me is reaching out to bloggers to review it. I found people who were interested in sharing business advice and specifically motivational quotes/tips for entrepreneurs which was the perfect audience for my book. They understood the value of my book and a few reviews is all it took for me to have a great start.

    Word of warning, you need to keep repeating this strategy as when the review posts gets older no one see it any more and you slip back down the ranking...but at least I know what works and have the kudos of the stats that prove I was the #1 selling Kindle author in that category!
