I've got a nice idea, but there is a flaw.

I think I'm onto a really good idea, but I've ran into a problem. The product that I would be making would basically tell someone how to use the internet to fix their problem. I know it doesn't sound that great of an idea. But I'm not wanting to say much more. What's stopping people from returning a product after they've solved the issue or simply don't need it anymore?

I can't really find any examples to give. If someone really would like to discuss to me about it, I would love to. I'm planning on making this niche website and using clickbank to spread it.

For the past couple days I've been in this mood. I'm just ready to start making money online. I'm reading and reading and reading hoping to find something that just clicks in my head. If anyone has any tips or advice feel free to share. I'll reply as soon as I can. Thanks for reading!

You can start by stopping "reading and reading and reading" and get to the part where you actually are doing .You don't want to waste all of your energy on one idea cause at the end if things are not working you will be left with no energy and motivation to go on

What you can do is state clearly in your Terms of Service and in your Refund Policy that there is a 3 to 5 days refund policy - or maybe you do not wish to allow refunds. You can do this - as long as you make sure the Customer knows that there are no refunds and you make them Confirm that they Accept these conditions.

That would be the simple solution to your concern here.

It is okay to not offer refunds when you have products that are accessible right away and such. Just really make sure it is very very clear on your sales page and on your check out page and have the buyer mark a checkbox confirming they have acknowledge these terms.

    Hope this helps!

    Cheers!

Thanks everyone for the replies. I know I've got to start doing. I'll keep everyone here updated on what I'm doing. Last night I was just surfing around the internet for hours, trying to find more niches to get my hands on. I found out even more ideas, and great things to do.

I've literally been thinking about the subject any free time I get in my head. I'm willing to do this, and I can't get it our of my head. I don't have many friends, so reading these comments really helps. I'm trying to set goals not just with this, but to change how I live my life.

It just takes time and research for now. I expect a year from now, if I can keep this same mindset. I will be somewhere much better than today. Thanks again guys. This idea I posted about, was just one of the few. Things are going to fail and I will get past it.

    I'll bite.

I've done "reports" in the past on how to fix a problem. And while the answers are found on the internet, not everyone knows where to find those answers.

And then on top of it, sometimes some additional assistance is required to follow through on the solution itself.

You have to determine if this is possibly just a quick report.

And it's ok to charge for those too. If you are saving people time, they will pay for the info just to solve the problem more quickly.

Depends on how many people have that particular problem too.

If you market this the right way, you reduce your refunds.

Anyway, feel free to PM me the problem you are solving and I'll be happy to give you thoughts on what you could do with it - as well as if it somehow relates to a larger niche that you could grow it into.

    What's stopping people? Nothing.

Except the fact that most people are generally honest, and don't think this way.

If people are determined to cheat you, they will. It doesn't matter what kind of refund policy you have or what you put in the TOS. Some people are crooked by nature, and will make a big enough PITA of themselves that they wear you down.

All you can do is minimize that pain by handing out the refund and going on with your life.

It's counterintuitive, but longer guarantees often reduce refund rates. If you tell people that they have 5 days to get a refund, you not only put the idea of a refund into their heads but you start the timer ticking.

On the other hand, if you offer a lifetime guarantee, you have the rush of everyday life on your side. It's easy to forget about the refund if you literally have forever to ask for it.

He said he wanted to sell on clickbank. If I remember right, ClickBank requires a 30 day refund policy.

What stops people from refunding? Nothing... even the highest quality content will be refunded.

Focus on making sales first... then worry about the refund rate.
