I Only Have $40, What Can I Do?

Hey,

I would like to promote a Clickbank or a CPA Network product with my $40!

I have been thinking of Solo Ads maybe, but I'm NOT sure If they accept affiliate promotions, or Bing Ads maybe, Is $40 enough to get a positive ROI on Bing Ads?

I'm not really sure what traffic source to choose to promote a product... But, I don't want a high-risk traffic source, I would like to try something that would bring a positive ROI.

Any Investing advice?

Thanks,
CityCowboy

        Good for you.

But your $40 won't get you far in paid advertising.

That is some great practical advice from you as usual!

But, I already have a .com website with hosting and AR and everything... I just need to see if 40 Dollars can get me a positive ROI if I promoted a Clickbank product or other products.

      • CityCowboy don't let these guys pull you around like that.

        Here's what I would do...

I would go to Clickonomy.com and buy you a SoloAd or head over to Fiverr and get 8 articles written and have them go to your landing page.

        Then...

I would get to work on creating that free offer while those guys are writing up your articles or while you're waiting to get your SoloAd setup.

You need to use the "Thank You Page Method" to promote your affiliate product.

The link I added in this post isn't to anything you need to purchase and even if you're not in network marketing the exact same principles will apply to what you're trying to do.

Here's my best traffic generation ideas:

        1. Forum Marketing
        2. Blog Commenting (stay informed like this)
        3. Facebook Marketing
        4. SoloAd Marketing
        5. Article Marketing (Medium can be good too)
        6. Instagram with good hashtags and valuable content posts

Honestly if you're that tight I say you find the perfect forum to work in using the Google search command "enter your keyword here + forum" and just start hustling.

        So, NO to soloAds!!

Soloads seems like a great investment, considering that Email marketing is the best way to sell online, and people are usually responsive to E-mails... Unlike PPC where getting a positive ROI seems like a struggle

If you're going down the solo ad route you really need to do your research on the seller.

Since the solo ad business boom the quality of most of the cheaper lists is poor.

Most of their subscribers are just drawn into the list with a click bait vague squeeze page to get as many subs as they can.

Make sure the seller has a high quality targeted list and not a list of blind ad opting.

What I mean by this is...

Make $2074.78 In 24 Hours With This Simple System!

An optin page like that'll get a high number of subs but a lot of them just signed up because they were curious.

They might not even be interested in your offer.

          Where on the other hand...

Make $2074.78 In 24 Hours With This Simple Youtube System!

You know people on this list are at least a bit interested in YouTube because it is targeted.

Therefore you're going to have more success with a related offer.

          Hope this helps.

Oh and just search bing coupon on Google and you'll get one.

I like to suggest you to run a FB ad or Invest in 7Search.com PPC Network. You can start FB Ad with $5 and 7 Search with $50. You just get traffic to your Landing page and get Their Emails. Thats a Gold mine to you.

You can get sales from them at anytime.

Before you buy any "traffic" from 7search, take a look at this thread:

The only good advice in this thread came from discrat.

It's clear the OP wants to waste money he could be using to support him and his family for an ad campaign that he can barely afford.

As he pointed out, where he lives he can't afford to lose his money, but people here don't care.

The OP can be smart or stupid, but is choosing to be stupid.

    Hi City Cowboy!

Don't use this $40 buying solo ads. If you are really serious to build your business online with this $40 to get started. Do not run traffic to your site until you fully understand how to structure how to promote other people's product. Traffic is the most easiest part of your business so DO NOT RUSH to get this.

I recommend to use Bing ads or google ads so you can target users at the point of intent.
Few days back, I just run one ClickBank product using adwords and I've got a good conversion rates from 50% to 100%. But, before you run any ads in adwords promoting click bank product, make sure to watch this video first to see how I did it.

    Hope this help!

Hey CityCowBoy, I remember a time when I once naively looked for that kind of traffic source.

Then I came to a revelation...

    It doesn't exist.

At least, there isn't any traffic source that guarantees a positive ROI.

That will depend on multiple factors, including how well your offer matches up with those seeing your ads, how effective your follow-up is, and your average customer value.

In any case, you should treat it as a rule that you'll initially lose money when first trying a paid traffic source, that's just part of the process of eventually "getting it right".

Once you do get it right, scaling your business becomes much easier.

In all honesty, your $40 won't take your very far on its own.

My advice is to learn an organic means of generating visitors (a "free" traffic method) and re-invest the earnings into paid advertising, like Bing ads.

    All the best!

    Daniel

Id put your money back in your wallet and do some education and learning at first. Everybody just wants to make money but without first understanding where it comes from.

Find a couple of mentors and role models in your industry and work on learning to think like they think.

Now here is a fact for you!

Over 96% of the people will not do what I suggest and try to do it on there own and will eventually get burned out.

    Here is another fact!

I think its like 6 or8 lottery winners will return back to their original financial state within ten year period. Why? Their brain in not programed to handle that kind of money. They have a small toolbox between the ears. Because we get comfortable and in order to grow we need to be uncomfortable at times.

Go to warriorplus and see what big offers are launching soon. Contact the vendor on facebook and ask for a review copy.. if you like like the offer (and you think that it can help others) then write a 200 words testimonial of that offer and make a video and use the testimonial as script. (You can buy a testimonial video from fiverr for $5 too if you want). Upload this video to youtube like 5 days before the launch with the affiliate link in the description. Then buy some good backlinks from fiverr for like $20 and BOOM.. Money will start falling into your affiliate account. Do this 2 times a week and yeah.. $$$

    Contrary to popular belief...

Yes, it is actually possible to get a positive ROI with $40 (especially when you get a coupon to go with it, too).

You'll just have to take the angle of using many keywords with cheaper clicks...

Compared to fewer keywords with much higher costing clicks.

I believe you should get a job to scale up the advertising campaign..

With $40, solo ads wouldn't be an option... usually $40 with a solo ad... that $40 will be a testing investment if the person doing solo ads is worth it...like not sending targeted clicks

But with Bing Ads, you can go $5 a day, for 8 days.

If you don't have money, use FREE...

Social Media, Blogging, Guest blogging, commenting, etc.

You can try with your $40 but I think it would be enough for your promotion. You can try with Solo Ads but with this money you can manage 100- 130 clicks. You can target new sellers. They may offer you more clicks with this money. Whatever you are going to do, you must increase your budget.

That's why I thought, 100 clicks is enough to generate a sale or two, but Unfortunately most Solo Ad vendors ONLY accept Squeeze page offers.

    To be honest not much.

If I had only $40 bucks...I wouldn't be trying solo ads...
You won't be able to buy enough data to make any money.

One thing you could do is sell a skillset you may have to raise money...
Yes trade your time for money...

    Get a 2nd Job.

Or 3rd look for free alternatives...like youtube promotions, facebook (posting in groups and fan pages, or craigslist/backpage where you can promote products and services for free until you make enough money to have cash coming in.

Once you have done that I would create a guide on what you did to earn money with your last $40 bucks to make money and you can sell it here on the forum for $7-$10.

That will get you daily cashflow coming in and from there you can grow and scale from there.

With $40 you can't do much in terms of paid advertising because you need to spend money to test and tweak. Hardly anybody gets their ads optimized perfectly the first time. If I were you, I'd try to increase my advertising budget before going all out in paid advertising.

You say you have 40$... Do you have a list already? If yes, you could run Facebook advertising at 5$ a day to your offer targeting a look-alike audience of your list.

If not, you can start building a list the same way and do email marketing on the back end.

The money is in your list. If you have a high converting offer, you can hustle your list and pull your investment out!

Remember: if you don't have money, you have time that you can use effectively on free traffic building.

    Hope this helps!

    Cheers.

    Just think ahead.

Clickbank has a threshold and requirements you have to meet before you will ever get that money in your pockets physically. You may be better off finding a high quality WSO to promote.

I would suggest to you first use free traffic. It will take time to see result but if you make sales with free trafic your ROI is 100%. And still you have your original $40. So, if you made sales you will have more than $40 to invest in paid traffic. In that case you can make more and more sales.

    Good luck!

$40 won't get you anywhere. You'll need more, in my opinion you need at least 600 to 1000 USD, since you'll need to split test your funnel AND your traffic sources.

Just go and create video course on Udemy and Skillshare, that makes me $2000 monthly consistent!
    steps are easy:
    1. Create a course
    2. Make videos
    3. Publish your videos
    4. Promote your course
    5. Repeat this process

Don`t spend your money for marketing, keep it to handle the fee that will inevitably land on you ..
Free traffic is the way to go, i just generate more than 1000 unique visite with 3 images + 2 text on a brand new website from facebook....

Traffic is very easy, conversion is more touchy; don`t send traffic in a bucket full of holes before fixing theses holes.

    So here`s a simple way.
1- test your things with free traffic, make sure you can generate interest + conversion
2- Take the money you do and scale up with paid traffic.

Another way of saying it is, don`t be lazy, do the work my friend.

    CityCowBoy,

Save the $40 for now. Do these 3 almost free things first.

    1. Write your own article and submit it to the various article databases linking back to your CPA offer.

    2. Get busy on Youtube.com - Traffic here can still be gotten for cheap. Google "Youtube video free guide" This should return lots of free info on how to video market for your CPA guide.

    3. Its a pain, but try researching forums that will allow links to your CPA offer. You'll still need to be helpful and interactive, as opposed to, pushy and too salesy.

If you really want to spend your $40 then you should just start a blog about the topic you CPA offer is on. $10 should buy you your domain name and another $10 will cover your first month of hosting.

Again, Google is your friend here. Free guides abound.

    Good luck.

Nowadays the $40 is a small amount of money. You can do promotion by yourself. There are many ways to promote your product. You can use any way as you wish. You can use social media site, Article submission, Relevant Blog commenting, Ad posting, Forum posting & so on. Thanks for your advance.

    domain, hosting

    autoresponder.

Help your list, get some $$, and then go from there, buy PAID TRAFFIC, and make more money.

This is how I went from being broke to doing over $800 USD a day!

There is no real secret to making money online, you just have to

    1) work your ass off

    2) Work your ass off

    3) Then, when you done that, work your ass of just a lil bit more.

I keep hearing the word HUSTLE, but its more than that. You have to work smart, and work hard. When these two combine, you can create any income you really want.

Say you want $100 a week, that is possible. Takes a certain amount of work.

Say you want $1000 a week. Well...that is also possible, just have to work 10 times harder then you did for your $100 a week.

but, 99% of people do not want to spend hours infront of their computer, so they never really get anyway.

my best advice. : put ass in seat, work, study, read, implement, take action. IF you keep doing this, and record what works, then you will never have to worry about a chitty 9-5 job again.

    There I said it. LOL

    LOL.

    Hope this helps.

Your absolute best bet is definitely ppc but all traffic you pay for is high risk at the beginning.

If you're not going to presell your leads or build a list you'll probably struggle to make a decent return. Especially in the mmo niche.

Sending people straight to the offer is also going to be hit and miss.

You might make a few sales with something in ano the niche.

Give us a bit more info on what you are looking to promote.

Hey Steve... I'm looking to promote a HGH Human Growth Hormone that targets both men and women, and it's worth more than 79 Dollars for one month package.

      What do you think!

Will spending that 40 Dollars on Bing Ads is worth it

HGH is illegal to sell is it not? Bodybuilders use it so they can grow bigger than their genetics allow them. Look at the Mr Olympia winners in the last 5 years, thats not just chicken breast and the gym.

If it's not the actual medical stuff, then surely its just a supplement promising the same effects which are impossible.

It's great that you're willing to spend $40 to get something going, but I highly doubt $40 will be enough to really get the ball rolling unless you really know what you're doing. I recommend, you save up a couple hundred and test some solo ads and bing ads, and if you stay consistent eventually you will end up with a winning campaign.

Ok for $40 this is what you need to do....after selecting the offer you want to promote and ensuring that it's the right offer that will get you sales. Promote using ppc advertising on bing. Some tips for you to do on bing which will hopefully make you succeed:
    1. When you select the location, try out the US/Canada and don't bother with the UK, New Zealand, Australia...like most gurus tell you to do. I had almost all of my sales from the US but that's maybe because of the offers I was promoting (it was not biz ops).
    2. Put $5.00 a day budget and test both the standard and accelerated modes....both can make a difference but I say start with standard.
    3. when you create the text ads....make sure to create at least 3 or 4 different version....later on you remove the ones that are not getting any impressions/clicks.
    4. make sure you check proper selling keywords on bing webmaster tools or the keyword tool available in bing ads.
    5. And finally, do no promote offers from clickbank that have a high refund rate or even stay away from clickbank because let's say you make one or two sales...you won't get paid until 5 different sales which means your profit will be stuck forever...lol. I want you to promote an offer that you can get your money in the next pay check....you take this money and re-invest. This will double your profits as long as you are chooing the right offers and proper research for each ad campaign.

    Best of luck!

    1. Create a squeeze page
    2. Send traffic to that page
    3. Build email list

That's the "secret" to making money online.

You can use the $40 to buy solo ad and send it to the squeeze page. Make sure you have a OTO offer that shows when someone enters their email. It can be a ClickBank or CPA offer. The CPA offer will probably convert better.

"The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it in your back pocket." --Will Rogers

    Hey Cowboy!

I'm thinking that you are really further along in this than you are letting on. But...I'll play along.

There are a lot of ways you can spend $40. I once spent $30 in about 18 minutes on Leadbolt without much to show for it.

You know...if $40 was all I had to spend and I wanted to maximize my return I might think a little bit outside the box.

Have you ever thought about doing a direct mail postcard?

    Hear me out.

You know, these days the big concern about paid advertising online is that about half of the clicks you're getting is from robots. And we all know that robots spend very little on information products.

What if you could combine the best of both worlds with this hybrid system?

What if you went to VistaPrint and spent your $40 on postcards driving actual PEOPLE to your offer?

You can zero in on your target offer using demographic filtering, create a beautiful graphical postcard, and deliver it through VistaPrint. Their 3rd party processor processes the mail so you're not licking stamps or driving to the post office.

Now, 50% of those who get your offer may just toss it in the trash, BUT:

    1) You know that a HUMAN BEING actually touched your offer...it got in front of REAL human EYEBALLS!

    2) You know that anyone who actually subscribes is highly interested in your offer as they had to manually navigate to your site.

    3) Anyone who subscribes manually is going to be highly targeted and highly interested, and probably more likely to buy from you.

You will probably have a lower per person cost to acquire new leads.

Think about it. If you're paying say 40 cents per lead to a list broker for solo ad leads and HALF of the clicks are from ROBOTS, then you're really paying 80 cents per lead. Then, out of the half that are not, are the leads any good?

Many of the 2nd tier traffic networks don't let you pinpoint your demographics. So even if you're only paying 7 cents per click, are you getting any decent ROI? What is it costing you to get one real buyer?

So....if I only had $40 to my name and I was going to use it to buy traffic, I think I'd use a direct mail method, create a compelling mail piece, and send them to my online offer.

    Pat

    Also...

If I was going the direct mail route, I would not not be offering a $7 e-book. I would make it a medium to high ticket offer to maximize the return on my investment.

Maybe pull them in with a free report that leads to a $197 product...

    Just a thought...

First of all you must have to increase your budget. $40 will not be enough for promoting your affiliate product. You may start with $100. I suggest you to use in the best possible way. You can start with Facebook Ads. Facebook Ads is really effective to get targeted traffic.
