My really strange problem with GetResponse... I need help!

I never thought I would have such a strange issue with Get Response...

Since last week I have tried to process my payment with a credit card, and with 5 different cards, the system has not been able to accept payment.

It's obviously a glitch on their end but I keep getting the run around... send us your info, someone will contact you, etc.

I've done everything possible to get this fixed. My account is due tomorrow and it will get locked because they can't process my payment.

Apparently their billing department is on a different country and I can't even have direct contact with them to get this fixed.

I have been trying and trying since last week... this is my life line with my work.

Has anyone dealt with anything similar with GetResponse?

This is just weird.

I just want to get this fixed but it looks like my account will get locked out.

Again, I have spent countless of hours with "tickets" and they keep asking me to send them my info, which I do, and then we keep going around in circles.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

    Hey Chris!

    I've used GetResponse for 12+ years.

    Most likely the problem is with the credit card processing.

    Here's the deal with billing: They are in Poland and some credit card companies process foreign charges differently. Some raise a red flag when it comes to international billing. Depending on your card, you can let them know that GR payments are okay and let them go. Sometimes you will have to contact your bank / credit card company and tell them to allow foreign payments for a period of time. Different cards handle this differently.

    Also, they have customer service in Canada, I believe. You can call them at: 1-877-362-4547.

    And if you just log in to your account, you can chat with them 24/7.

      Thanks for your message... you hit the nail on the head.

      I'm sure this is what is going on. I keep giving them my info so they can whitelist my credit card, but like you said, I am having to talk to "live chat" who then refers me to customer service who then has to contact their billing department in a different country - who is not able to contact me directly (even though customer service told me they would) so I keep contacting customer service and we're going around in circles... hence my ticket has been open and close a few times.

      Right now I"m just like "Please take my money!" =D

    I've personally never heard of people having issues with GR.

    But on a side note, I use aweber who I can actually call on the phone during business hours and they have been fabulous.

    Hi Dan, thanks for reaching out.

    I have made various calls, and like I mentioned, I have an "ticket" that has been marked open/close quite a few times.

    Last week I was told I would receive a call from Billing this week but that never happened.

    I keep being asked for my info and last 4 of my credit card, and I just once again resent it, which is funny because nothing has changed from what they have in file in regards to my address.

    Anyways, it's not the end of the world... I have the choice to move somewhere else if my account gets locked tomorrow, I'm just really surprised this has gone as far as it has without being fixed properly.

    It typically takes less than 24 hours to completely process your credit card payment, But if you used PayPal as your payment method, it might take even longer... Do not blame them for this mistake, they might not have received your money yet...

    Give them more time to solve this problem for you, and if no solution was giving, you just ask them for a refund and go find another ESP.

    I'm so sorry to hear about this issue with payment. I completely understand you've been around and around with tickets and calls, but if you'd be willing once more, I'd like to take your account's email address (either via direct messages here in WarriorForum or directly via email to me at abigail.hehemann@getresponse.com) and I will escalate this to the Billing Management and get an update on what is going on with this.
