Selling products on multiple platforms - Issue

I have a webstore on my website, ebay store and also I am selling products on amazon.

As I have same products to sell at all platforms I was using different and unique title and description. What if I use same title and description on all platforms and give out no follow links to amazon and ebay stores. Will it harm my website ?

I am not sure exactly what you are asking? When you say "harm your website?" are you asking if Amazon and ebay will take sales away from your site? If that is your question I would think the answer would be yes for the obvious reason that consumers are familiar with the other sites and most consumers regularly buy there (particularly Amazon) while most consumers have not bought off of your stand alone site.

But that does not mean your sales will suffer but the location of the sale may be different.

    Thanks for the quick response.

I meant how can it effect my ranking.

Example I have a product called "A" and I put it on sale on my website amazon and ebay with different title description and content and I want to change it to product A uploaded on my website amazon and ebay with same content. How will Goggle react to it ?

      jasdeep,

I think Brent's point is that no one here on this forum can tell you how Google is going to react to your web site and marketing. How will they know Google's mind?

Even if others have contacted or been contacted by Google, their experience is not going to be the same as yours.

I am not sure why you have decided to use "different and unique title and description" depending upon the sales platform. That seems like a lot of extra work to me. There are lots of products that are sold on multiple venues at the same time.

I think it's more deceptive or risky to call one product by different names and give it different descriptions. Someone in the niche might purchase the same product more than once because it's called by different names.
