Why is not anyone responding to my advertising?

Advertising is expensive and I am using all kind of advertising I can find but it is not working at all. I know about the Rule of 7 where the people have to view your ad 7 times before they react on it but thing do not seem to work out for me.

I have good traffic but advertisement is not doing me any good. I am getting conversion from Facebook and other social media websites but not from ads. Should I continue spending my money on ads?

No. Why would you continue to spend money on something that isn't profitable?

Find traction, like Facebook and social media, and scale it up. Then branch out.

I do not know whether it would be a good choice as I do not have any other way of conversions other than social media which is effective but not that much effective.

You need to analyze your entire marketing funnel:

    1. Where are you sending traffic? To a blog? A Squeeze page?

    2. Who are you targeting?

    3. What kinds of ads are you running?

    4. Have you done you market research to see what you customers are more likely to respond to?

You can just spend money blindly without doing the foundation work. I suggest you pause your ads and start over from scratch. It will require more work up front but will save you a ton of time and money later on.

Focus on the advertising platform where you're getting the best conversions. Stop pouring money into advertising that isn't working for you. That's all I can really tell you. Have you thought about getting some consulting?

    Here's is the truth.

Either you are using traffic sources that don't convert or your offers don't convert.

We can't tell you which one of these is your problem because we don't know where you are sending your traffic and what paid traffic sources you are using.

You will need to figure which of these is your problem.

Note: If you are sending your traffic directly to a sales page and not to a squeeze page, then any traffic source that you use will yield poor results.

People aren't responding to your ads because your
ads aren't interesting to them. This isn't rocket science.

Either you are putting your offer in front of the
wrong market or you have identified the right market
but your ad fails to inspire them to take the desired action.

Don't over analyze it... those are the only two choices.

I was running some PPC ads on Bing and not getting good returns
so I stopped. Couldn't explain why since I know that the product
sells well and the keyword were quite targeted. But if it's not working
even when it's suppose to, stop throwing away your advertising dollars.

Have you done any testing? A lot of people run one ad that doesn't work and give up. You have to test different graphics, headlines, copy, colors, etc.

There's no such rule of 7, would love to know which advertising methods are you using or maybe you just need to be good at one advertising method not using 10 advertising methods at once.

Spending money on advertising that brings you no returns is counterproductive. I advertised in a local magazine since 2009. It was the backbone of my business. It gave me more work than I could handle. However, in the past year or so, the calls stopped coming. But I kept the ad going only for branding purposes. Nothing else. And last month, after 7 years of advertising every single week nonstop, I decided to give it a rest. I think that particular avenue for me had run its course.

    I hope that helps.
