  • I recommend you just start with different methods and it will become very clear which one is best for you.

    There is no one-size-fits-all solution.

    Some options:

    1. Digital Products (Clickbank, JVZoo, Commission Junction as an affiliate)
    2. Physical Products (Amazon, Ebay as an affiliate)
    3. Ads (Adsense, etc)
    4. Own products (Survey your audience for what they want)
    5. Etc

    Hope this gives some ideas

I would recommend starting with Ads and then moving on to PPI as your traffic expands.

Why don't you send an email to yourself (as per your signature link) on how to earn EXTRAORDINARY money from home...then you wouldn't have to worry about monetizing some pesky little blog. Huh?

    It's very simple really . . .

You monetize your blog with products and services that are relevant to your audience. They are your targeted prospects, correct? In order to sell things to them, you have to present offers that people in your niche (the blog's niche) really want. If your blog is about mobile apps, then monetize it with mobile apps and other related items to mobile apps.

Doesn't it make sense to sell people what they come to your site looking for?

Browse through clickbank, jvzoo for products/services that related to your niche.

    Adsense is another option.

    A couple of questions:
First, how much traffic do you get?
Second, do you know your audience?

I think the second question if crucial. If you know your audience, you can start monetizing even with just 100 daily readers.

As previously mentioned the question is a bit generic and it's not entirely clear what niche you are operating in.

Assuming this is your website: Popular Mobile Apps Review | Your #1 Mobile Apps Authority Site

A few underlying principles to consider:

    1. Your traffic strategy right now, according to your alexa rank seems to be limited to SEO - as such, due to the generic nature of the niche, you will not have specialized traffic, which means you will be lacking (for a while at-least) in user volume and consequently in monetization options.
    2. If you decide to go more "niche" - say app reviews for people who love dogs, you will have the option of targeting more specific users and gain niche specific advertisers (read "high paying").
    3. To get those high paying advertisers I recommend:

    - Approaching brands for advertising directly
    - Taking niche specific offers from affiliate networks
    - Creating a newsletter & social presence which pushes niche related products
    - Sell your own product about the niche, video, courses
    - Work with native widgets to provide functionality and monetization to your blog

Overall, if you're in a generic market and are counting on SEO as your traffic source only you will be hard pressed to effectively monetize, unless you have a strong UGC layer to your service (user generated content).

A possible approach is to re-align your website as a search engine and create new pages from user queries. Turn each query into a permalink with auto meta description generation - that will create a SEO flywheel.

    Best of luck!
