How to Test if your Salespage Converts

Here's a simple test to see if your salespage can convert visitors into buyers.

Before you spend any money on Facebook ads, Youtube ads, Solo ads, or Adwords, drive some cheap traffic with a Fiverr gig. There are lots of traffic gigs on Fiverr. I've used several sellers and found decent results with guys offering solo ad gigs.

Sure the Fiverr traffic is mostly lousy, no matter what the gig says. And I don't recommend doing this for a wso or jvzoo launch page. But, you can self host a test page with your own simple paypal button, and then it's a cheap way to test out your salespage. If you pick a highly rated gig with lots of good testimonials, and you don't get any conversions e.g. optins or sales, then that's a good indication something is wrong with your salespage. And now you can work on fixing it. This way you save yourself a lot of money wasted on more expensive ads, or waste sending an email to you list before your salespage is ready.

But, it's still a cheap way to test out your salespage.
    This is a terrible idea.

You want to test with the highest quality, targeted traffic you can access.

Let's say you want to get affiliates to promote your product. You put it on JVZ and drive a bunch of robots and other low-quality traffic to the sales page. Prospective affiliates see your horrible conversion and EPC and move on.

This is just one possible detriment.

I agree with Brent. Fiverr gigs, even the "expensive" ones that promise targeted traffic provide the lowest quality and you will only waste money on that traffic. Results are not conclusive!

If you want to test your pages, buy solo ads targeted to your offer.

Those gigs are mostly bots. Average bounce rate with those gigs is 80 to 90%.
    I wouldn't purchase those gigs.
Fiverr is great but for other kind of services.

I, too have purchased gigs on Fiverr only to be disappointed. Post your sales page here on the WF. You WILL get honest opinions as to whether it converts or not. Some of these guy on the forum are brutal...but this is what you need...someone to give you an honest review. You don't need someone to pump you full of sunshine just to make you feel good. But, I'd bet you already knew that.

    Thank you.

Using a Fiverr traffic gig in general is a good indication that something is wrong with your entire marketing strategy.

Have you personally ever made a sale from any traffic via a Fiverr gig?

I'll hold my scepticism until I see your results.

Definitely don't use fiverr for traffic. If you want to test traffic even from a solo ad you can purchase a small amount of clicks first to see how it works, and then scale up... test small.

Yes they are ok, but a lot don't really know what insight to give and just mumble with 'ums' and 'ers'. The quality of the video and audio is usually terrible. I had 10 people test a site to test their quality and 4 of them I could just about hear their voice through the white noise of their mic.

UserTesting.com is probably the best place to go for some feedback on a salespage, can be expensive, or someone like me who specializes in reviewing a website ux and sales process.

You can begin to create the product. You now have something that tells you that your product idea matches some people’s interest, and also that you’re able to reach your target market too. Use the motivation you’ve gained by people opt-ing into your list to crank it out as soon as you can. Furthermore, you may want to utilize some of the people on your email list to help create the product itself to ensure that you’re building it in a way the appeals to your target market. Make sure you somehow reward the people that do help you out.
