OK I've got leads, now how do I sell them?

I have been generating Real Estate leads online with some success. Now I'm looking for some input from those with experience selling online leads.

I have some questions.

1) How do you find a Buyer for your leads?

2) How do you transfer the leads? Is there a program which automates payments/lead transfers? I use Wufoo.com / HomeValueLeads.com to generate leads.

3) Do you qualify your leads? I know some of the leads are fake telephone numbers or e-mail addresses, but I also don't want the Buyer to take advantage of me and simply claim they're duds for a refund because he/she can't close the lead.

4) How much do you charge?

Start getting leads to call a automated voice message number - of course you have to set that up and speak on the automated message.

Then you know it's legit people calling you because they want to get in touch with the kind of people you are promising to connect them with.

Each meeting with a lead could be worth a potential of anywhere from $10-$1000 - maybe more, maybe less - you have to warm those leads up so they want to meet some kind of business related to whatever you go in to deeply in your content.

The phone call to your automated message will lower your conversions (leads having to call you) but it makes every lead a legit person interested enough to pick up the phone.

You could easily sell that kind of lead for $30-$50 to a Realtor.

Possibly more. You would need to find out what your leads actually want then from there connect them with the right business owners.

Why not targeted searches on Google for the niches you have leads for?

Contact the top paid advertisers and let them know about your leads.

    Offer low cost samples

If your leads are legit, should be able to get a few takers.

Think of it these way, these advertisers are PROVEN ad buyers.

    They are motivated.

You just need to convince them to take a gamble on your leads.

Don't you think these things should have been worked out prior to generating these leads. I mean the longer they sit the colder they will get.

Classic example of not having a plan

A bar of iron cost $5. Made into horseshoes, it's worth $12. Made into needles, it's worth $3500. Made into balance springs for watches, it's worth $300,000. Your value is determined by what you are able to make of yourself

I have an arrangement in the city in which the leads are working, and I have the formula tested (for free) in other cities. So, no. I think I'd rather figure out that I can generate leads, before endeavoring to find a buyer for my leads. The pipeline can be turned on and off, just a function of finding someone to purchase them.

Do you have a recommended plan or just came to be facetious?

I always see a variety of lead vendors bidding on Google Adwords, so obviously some people are making money pitching their leads using that medium.

Try clicking some of those offerings and take note of how they're websites are laid out. What are they charging and things of that nature. Good luck to you!

I remember trying our Lime Leads a few years back. I found them in the Google sponsored ad section and figured what the hay and threw a couple hundred bucks there way. Well, long story short was the leads were of pretty low quality but boy oh boy, the slick sales page reeled me in hook line and sinker.

At the time you collected these leads . . .

did you disclose to each one that you would be selling their private contact information to a third party?

If not, you are on shakey ground.
