Noticed that some sites are not responding today. Anyone know if it is due to Ike? or some other reason. This is one http://2checkout.com

My host is OK. I think they are in Florida

Wow! I don't know how to say this, but you have a new president. Ike left the Whitehouse a long time ago. In fact,you've had a whole string of presidents. Possibly, you could blame this on Bush, but I don't think he's smart enough to have caused any damage -- unless he plugged his razor in the wrong outlet.

  2CO has had uptime/availability problems forever ... I remember reading the exact same complaints back in 2002-2003 ... you'd think at some point, they'd figure it out?????

  Well, if you look at 2CO's operation "base" it says Columbus, OH, and guess what....over 250,000 people and companies are without power thanks to remnants of Ike.
  
  Yes, even in Ohio. Crazy, right?
  
  I've already made another post about this and the power being out all over central Ohio. It's madness here, and we're smack dab in the middle of it, so that may have something to do with it.
  
  I haven't heard anything about 2CO moving base operations to Florida, so I may be behind in the times. Feel free to correct me as I'm wrong about 65% of the time :p

We in Aus are feeling it for all you guys who are suffering because of the cyclone. Hope it settles down quickly and you can all return to your homes or whatever without too much damage or inconvenience. While there are some tongue in cheek comedians in here it isn't disrespectful to laugh occasionally, especially when the chips are down.

All of our HG sites are running fine as of two hours ago.
Never even flickered during the worst of Ike.
I checked what few there are left on other hosts and
haven't found any problems.
