Anybody do this lately to Capitalize off the Mayhem we know as the US Presidential Election ?

Wonder if any teespringers out there tested the infamous quote from Trump ,"Nasty Woman" , that seems to have gone viral as of lately?.

Imagine some did. I was doing Teespring for awhile a couple of years ago and thought about jumping in and doing this...but my Time wouldn't allow.

Anybody out there run some campaigns around this ???

Yeah al, would have been interesting to run a Split Test and see which one outperformed the other

But I will say that in example number 2 Teespring more than likely would not have Approved it. They are sticklers for any "likeness" towards public Figures.

I think the "Nasty Woman" would have gotten by and Approved

Politics is one of those niches I stay clear of. It torques me off enough on a daily basis that I have no interest in trying to make a living at it. Although it is probably a good niche for someone that is A-Political

Capitalizing monetarily on any kind of news or trends seems to me to be a game for the quick trigger first responders. Most folks who read about this sort of business model on public forums are probably "trend chasers" that will most often be too late to the party. I'm not saying a person can't make money playing this game . . . but, IMO, it takes a very special "go getter" that is willing to take a risk to make something like this work profitably.

Yeah Steve, I do know of a couple of Marketers and that is there whole Business Model..i.e .trend chasers and they hustle and do very very well with it. For years now. They get in and out before the rest of us know what hit lol

it takes a certain breed but it can be a legit model in of itself for a few talented peeps

I've seen a few Trump T shirts images getting upvoted on Reddit, so there's definitely people/businesses/marketers taking advantage of the situation.

Just a case of watching the news and see what blows up or scandal doing the rounds and put it on a T shirt, I guess.

Here's a tee shirt idea - Trump + Clinton blended "offspring" photo.

It would be so disturbing, it would probably sell millions.

Even more disturbing would be the image of the conception

I published a 5,000 word Kindle eBook about Trump Friday.

Originally it was about10,000 words talking about all the Republican candidates, but I got busy, and before I knew it, they all dropped out except Trump.

I didn't want to waste the words so I edited the other guys out and changed the voice a bit to make a point that his only chance is to apologize for his campaign to try to pick up some fence sitters.
I even wrote his apology for him to use.

Don't really have the time to market it and there isn't much action on it so I doubt it will do much.

The political arena can be quite lucrative if you can tap into the internal narrative of your target audience. Politicians in particular are generally masters at marketing which we have seen over and over again throughout history. This marketing method is extremely powerful, and it would be a real practical education to study and apply this process.
