Can CL detect Proxy's?

I was wondering if CL can detect proxy's? I know they trace the IP address, which is a big hassle, and I'm trying to find a way to get around this.

If you arent spamming, you dont need a way around it.

Instead of using short cuts that harm others and don't build a business, learn how to market.

Well, I am actually offering legitimate sales positions. I hang out on this forum because the amount of marketing knowledge and general business sense is unparalleled on any site I have been on. But no, I am actually just seeking to hire as many employees as possible, and do not have any interest in posting advertisements for a product or service.

Though I appreciate you two giving it to me straight like that.

Yes, Nobodyreal sent me a PM offering me a position as a sales person for his SEO company. I think he offered me $500 per sale.

What this person does not realize, is that the people on this forum are knowledgeable about IM and SEO and know that they are worth more than being a sales person for him.

Kirahster, well, that certainly applies to a big audience who hang out on these forums--but you and I both know that there are people who are drawn into IM simply because they like the idea of 'easy money', and there are other people who do not have what it takes to turn IM into a good source of income.

BTW, I offered you that job as a specific reply to a post in which you said your goals with IM were to simply make money at home. Sorry if that message made it seem like I didn't think you were talented.

If you are really looking to hire a pile of people go to odesk.

Lilgrace, thanks I will check this out. I'm not sure how this compares to CL in terms of traffic volume though. My ad in Detroit gets me like 50+ responses each time I post it, and if I could find a way to post in multiple cities, I could really develop a nice contractor based salesforce.

My intentions are honest, honestly. It's the other guys that are screwing up my ability to just do whatever I want on Craigs.

Gee I wonder if Craigslist who pulls in over $10 million just from employment Ads knows anything about Proxy?

Some of these questions a like watching cops... "uh it's my friends crack pipe".

How about an old advertising workhorse that is underrated
yet still works? It's better than CL and you can reach the
    entire country.

If you explain why and Warriors "like" the reason you will get much better responses. If you don't explain why we assume the worst.

As far as the question of whether CL can detect proxies is concerned, most of the very large sites maintain lists of proxies so they know when they are being used. What they actually do with connections via proxies is another question to which I do not have the answer. However, proxies come and go so it is very difficult to keep the lists up to date.

CL is a pain lately. I have a few friends that are non-technical so I post locally for their services. The problem is that I can only post x number of ads per day before I get shut down. Usually I delete the old ads, then replace them with new. After a few I can't post any more.

I'm not spamming, I'm not overposting, but I'm using one account to help several others and I get stopped. My only solution is to wait another day and post, or perhaps get more accounts on CL which I have not done.
