I got ripped off - can you help me?

OK. So I understand there are some benefits to getting "ripped off" this way, but...

I posted to my blog this morning
and already a scraper sites ripping off my content...

... Instead of fighting it, I'd like
to exploit it.

Any ideas on how to get more scraper
sites to steal my content AND trick
them into linking to my site (for link juice)?

Some sites don't link back and others link with nofollow.

lol ... exactly. Put out a welcome mat ... Scapers are welcome here. I used to have a slightly gray hat script that embedded my links in content that scrapers loved to scrape and before they knew what happened, my links were all over the place. The script doesn't work anymore

All I know is that they are based on hot keywords ... they want content that will get clicked on. Check out the scrapers that are scraping your site and others if you can find them and see what they are scraping.

I'm not really too worried about them - but as Sparrow said it would be cool to leverage them more intentionally, which is what sbucciarel seems to have done in the past.

  • Link internally in your posts with the entire path a href=http://www.mysite.com/whatever
When they scrape, those links will lead right back to you!

You don't need to perform any trick since they have already taken the clue and have already started, that should tell you that you do not need to waste your effort trying to trick them again. LOL.
