Hi

Can anyone explain what charge backs are?

I have purchased a script (outside of the Warrior Forum) and the script ain't all that its made out to be - the sales page tells blatant lies about the product. I paid via PayPal which debited my debit card for the purchase.

They state "Our product is a digital download. Therefore all sales are final and we are unable to offer refunds."

Can I get my money back? Do I need to fight?

Any advice?

    Hi Kevin

You could start a dispute with paypal and see how you go, but if it was me, I'd email em and tell them it was crap and I wanted a refund anyway. (You might just get one).

if you don't get any joy from either them or paypal, if the funds came straight out of your credit card (not debit), then you can start a chargeback against them. You need to ring your credit card company and tell them the item wasn't as described etc. (they will then make a decision as to whether to proceed)

Paypal hate cc chargeback's, it might also light a fuse up the ass of the vendor if they think their PP account is at risk.

If it wasn't for much, you could put it down to experience, (may not be worth the hassle)

BTW I'm surprised you would buy something without a refund built in

    Cheers
    Kim
