Creating an iPad app for a Tradeshow

Hello All,

I would like to ask if you could recommend how to approach the following project:
I want to create an app for a specific trade show.
This apps aim would be to allow attendees of a tradeshow to come and use the iPad (displayed for attendees passing by the booth) to access information about my company.
I made some research on the subject and it seems you can pay startups that will create your own app, and make it available on Android or Apple App stores.

However, in my case I would only need to have that app on my iPad and I dont want anyone to download it from anywhere.
The app I want to create would be relatively simple; 7 pages with pictures and text.
I simply want to avoid the amateur way of dealing with this, which would be to display a powerpoint presentation on that iPad...
Is there a way I could easily program such an app?

Thanks in advance for your help and advice,
Michael

I'll be careful to avoid self-promotion here, but you can check out any of the big freelance sites. You're not likely to need to pay a lot for something that is essentially a quick web page wrapped up in an app. You might even be able to find a really cut down browser on the app store that you can limit to only your own pages.

To answer your questions, kind of.

Do you have a background in CS (computer science)? Then chances are that you can learn new programming languages.

The language used by IOS apps is called Swift and it is free to program applications in Swift. Not only that but Apple provides you with every possible tool you need, as long as you have an MacBook (or anything with MacOS) to download it to. There are no Windows based versions.

Apple also provides the app called PlayGrounds which is an interactive Swift course. It teaches you how to program in Swift and in about two weeks, you can finish the course. IF you have coded before and you just need to get familiar with the particularities of this programming language, you can develop your apps directly inside the application.

But if you don't have a CS background and you need to learn syntax too, then good luck developing an app from scratch. I'm not saying that it is not possible but it will take a lot of time and effort and unless you have a passion for it, you're better off outsourcing.

    Here's the app:
    https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/swif...908519492?mt=8

Another option is to use an web app. You don't really need a native IOS app, you can simply use something in HTML 5 or Unity. But again, if you know what you're doing, it is relatively easy to program. If you don't know what you're doing, it will take time.

    Hello,
I don't want to write about promotion of my services. So just want to tell you that you can contact any ios app development service provider to get own custom application.
Or you can use online presentation software like MS office to fulfill your needs.
