Does anyone use Click-Bank for affiliate products? I was reading a couple of reviews on Google and some people were saying it's outdated and hardly used now. I've never been a fan of advertising affiliate products, but I might start soon. Are there better ones than clickbank? If so which ones are they?

I say Clickbank is the best but there is also paydotcom and commission junction.

Clickbank is still definately the leader for non-physical products. The main problem with being an affiliate is that there are many thousands of other people all trying to market the same products. Sometimes you have to dig a little deeper to find the right offer.

Click bank has the most affiliates, paydotcom 2nd, Commission junction 3rd.

However, you got to pay everytime you post your product on clickbank for affiliate. Paydotcom, you only pay once and you can post unlimited product for affiliate.

I think you mean that a VENDOR has to pay to open a vendor account.
The OP is asking about becoming an affiliate.

There's a lot of affiliate networks out there, it would depend on what you're looking to sell.

Clickbank is network of digital products. Another would be PayDotCom (although they also allow physical products).

You can become an affiliate for a lot of well known stores on networks such as Commission Junction and LinkShare.

CPA affiliate offers are found on networks such as NeverBlue, Market Leverage, Clickbooth and Pepperjam.

You can even become an affiliate of Amazon.

I also use Clickbank & think it's great. CJ.com is pretty sweet too. I have friends that have had really poor exeriences with pepperjam, I've never worked with them personally but a friend of mine is owed over 5k that they are refusing to pay.

    Hi guys

i tend to use them in niches rather a lot away from the make money online arena. Then for the make money online i tend to go more towards paydotcom.

    kind regards

Good advice from Sam. Selling IM type products or make money products from CB will mean that you may have people stealing your commissions by using their own affiliate link to buy the product. This is far less common outside those niches though.

Personally I know lots of people who have made a great deal of money from affiliate marketing...and I am talking $1 million plus. However that said, most of them built a dedicated squeeze page, drove traffic to opt ins and then built relationships with their lists and in time, dropped in an affiliate link in a relationship building email.

What do I want to say with this is: You can choose whichever of those three programs (since they are well ranked among the marketers) but it will also depend on how you're working to make your product popular and a great seller.
