Need help with pricing

Guys,

I am brand new to the affiliate marketing world. I have heard a lot about warrior forum, so I thought this would be a good place to ask my question.

I am curious to know what pricing structure works the best for you. I can't figure out how many upsells I should have and how much they should cost.

More about the course. It's an online course. Main product is a 16 chapter online video course.

What are you favorite prices to start with for your front end product? How should I present the 3 upsells I have built in?

Any help is seriously appreciated. Thanks!

You have provided ONLY a rough description of the product, but there is a lot more that goes into the pricing decision.
    1. What niche are you selling into? (different markets will support very different pricing models)
    2. How competitive is the niche for similar products?
    3. What benefits does your course provide? (each benefit will be perceived as having its own value)
    4. How good is your sales copy? (different sets of salescopy will produce radically different results)
    5. What is your reputation in the marketplace? (a well-known seller with a well established "brand" can easily sell the same product for a higher price than an unknown seller can expect for the exact same product and sales copy)
    6. and the list goes on

You need to answer those questions BEFORE you (or anyone else) can even begin to determine what price you should put on your product.

Try Low priced front end that people can afford eg $5. Now that you have "buyers" upsell a medium priced offer eg $47

For those buyers who want to get some serious life changing results, you can charge $197 to $1000 for your product. As long as it's quality and does what it promises. ie Delivers results for your customers.

in MMO niche small FE around $5 to $10 seems to work well.

Gets them a teaser on what you're about and what kind of quality you can provide

Not sure why I'm taking the time to come back here, since you obviously didn't feel the need to follow through with my prior suggestions, but maybe I can at least get you to think about the problem a little, instead of expecting a "one size fits all" solution.

First, it may/may not even make sense to offer an upsell.

There's a little bit of psychology involved in making that decision.

In the Make Money Online market, you can use a low priced front end with high commission rates to help attract a larger number of affiliates. In this scenario, the primary goals are to
    1. increase the number of affiliates promoting your product, and
    2. build your "buyers list".
It's much easier to recruit affiliates for a low-priced offer simply because most affiliate marketers have little confidence in their ability to effectively pre-sell even a moderately priced product.

In this scenario, most of your income will come from upsells, or from later backend sales to that "buyers list".

Two points to keep in mind...
    1. While up-sells can work very well for direct response marketing in the MMO space, they are not as well received in other markets and you might want to think about a shopping cart solution, instead (think Amazon, Walmart, etc.).
    2. Low-priced front-end sales funnels (with high commission rates) were designed specifically for attracting affiliate marketers, whereas your funnel may be designed with the front-end product being your primary (higher priced) offer, and the upsells are simply "add ons", (i.e. additional features)

This doesn't sound like a "$7" front-end, but if your other 3 products are worthless without this main product, you may need to think about your strategy a little further.

"Favorites" have nothing to do with it. Use different pricing strategies for different combinations of products, whether there are any dependencies between the various products, and whether you need a "trip-wire" product on the front-end.
