WSO Pre-Launch Review Copies

Hey all,

Wanted to know if/where I can make a thread to see what Warriors would be interested in getting a free review copy of a WSO that I have coming out next week?

I assumed the "review" forum would be fine, but there is no sticky with rules so I thought I'd ask the community first.

Mods?

I think you can discuss the idea here, it should not be a problem until you link the post with your website. This is my personal opinion, only a moderator can confirm you the exact rule.

Also think about announcing it on the MunchEye site and putting the offer of a review copy on your JV page.

    Hi,

You may post a thread for your free review copy in the "Wanted - Members Looking To Hire You" section.

Be careful who you give copies to. In my experience, only about 30% of people actually provide a review.

A lot of people see it as a way to get free products and have no intention of reviewing.

This is why it is much better to "hand select" your reviewers.

Rather than "announcing" the availability of a limited number of review copies, only to be inundated with requests from a huge number of unknowns...

you should select a number of potential reviewers based on
        1. their reputation in your market niche and/or
        2. their ultimate potential as an affiliate for your new product

Even someone who doesn't currently have the time to do an actual review of your product in the immediate timeframe, may very well be a great recruit as an affiliate of your product and could dramatically impact the success of your product launch in either capacity.

Rather than "advertising" for reviewers "en masse" from an unknown public, it is better to delay your launch to allow time for you to individually recruit the best possible set of reviewers for your new product.

Actually, why would he. As long as you guys keep this thread then there is no reason. People will just send him a PM asking for the review copy and he will send it. That is why it should be deleted.
