A site flipping question. Can I make $1000 in 30 days with this plan?

Hey everyone,

I have a question.

I live in Poland and because of the exchange rate and all, you can live quite comfortably here for $1000 bucks a month, which is nice.

Now, some time ago I started doing writing for people (which worked out great in the beginning, but then it kind of died out. The problem was that most people took samples, told me they really liked them and never came back for business. You can look at my testimonials on my writing wso, if you'd like)

I have a project that I am working on, but since I just started, it probably won't make money for another 3 to 6 months, so I need to generate $1000 by the end of october, doing something other than writing for people.

Here's an idea on which I need feedback from you all.

I have 9 domain names and I want to flip them. I'll make a squeezepage, and create a freeby to give out. I'll make a salespage with an ebook for 17 dollars. Then I was thinking about having 10 good articles written to promote that and flip it. My goal is 1000 bucks at the end of October.

The domain name would be: fullfatloss.com
The Niche: weightloss

I would do the keyword research and all that other stuff. Just trying to see if I send 10 articles a day to it and then flip the whole thing, there is a chance for me to make that 1000 dollars.

Thanks for your help.
Sebastian

Sounds like a plan Sebastian. Whether you can make the $1000 depends on a lot of factors. Mainly how much traffic you can generate from the articles. Also if you're looking to gather some copy writing clients I suggest you quit handing out samples like you are. Try setting up your own Ning.com social network and gear it totally towards answering folks questions about sales copy. Offer the members who join a free critique of their sales letter. For the most part you should get quite a few takers on that. I don't suggest you hard pitch the ones you do but instead earnestly help them and only ask for a testimonial in exchange. Then pop up a FAQ on copywriting as a tab at the the top of the page. Then one of the questions can be something like "How Can I Hire You To Write My Copy?". Then you should get some decent inquiries. Hope that helps!

Starting out with a plan is always a wise start.

Allow me to refine your plan a little. (But I can't guarantee you anything and it's just a suggestion from someone who have been flipping sites for close to 4 years)

    1) Get a keyworded domain name with .com

    2) Write 10 articles that target that specific keywords that you are targeting in your domain name. (you can add on an extra 10 articles targeting other keywords)

    3) Go to ClickBank and look at the professional vendor's site. I like to model most of my niche site after top gravity sites. Ask your designer or coder to do the same thing with the page structure but with different designs.

    4) Keep on pumping traffic to your site (use social media!) and try to recruit affiliates if possible.

    5) Sell.

I've done this successfully and proven to everyone that this system works when I publicly listed a few sites on Flippa and other marketplaces to cash in over $6,000 -- doing in half-heartedly while I am in college. (Yes, I actually sold them all while I am in college, hiding behind my laptop while my lecturer was talking about some math stuff)

    All the best.
