Change start from within. You know what you are good at. Keeping that in mind, start searching for resources in this forum as well as on Google. Read, read and read. In one month time, you will have a good idea about what is a good strategy for you.

There are so many ways to earn extra income online it is amazing, but
for me the easiest method has always been affiliate marketing. That is
where you promote products from different companies, such as Amazon
and ClickBank, and when someone buys through your links you earn a
commission. There are endless possibilities with this.

There's a bit of work involved to get set up but once you get things going
it's fabulous!!!

What do you enjoy? What sounds fun to you?

I love following my passion....but of course, I match my passion with a pressing problem, to build the online business on solid ground.

Following my passion also helps me put in the time to practice, to hone my skills, even when I am not making money in the beginning. Rory notes that 3-6 month building period, where little or no cash flows in. To even earn extra cash you will need to go to school - symbolically - by learning and practicing certain skills.

Age has nothing to do with this and all you need to do is learn about what you don't know

My suggestion would be please don't buy into those $7 offers as it won't be much of help as you will require some knowledge to understand and implement it.

Instead, find a system that will convert for you without putting much effort.
Also, Consider building an email list - this is the way to go

I can easily bombard you with awesome offers but that'd be overwhelming for you.

You've got some good responses here. Just remember to keep your focus on how you can provide a solution for someone. What sort of conversations do you find yourself having where you are able to offer advice to folks? You may find some good ideas in those conversations.

And, I have to agree. Being 67 isn't really an issue. In fact, your real life experience gives you a lot of advantages.

Provide a solution and you will find your answer.

You may not be an "internet expert", but at age 67 you have something these whiz kids won't have for a long, long time - a lifetime of experience.

Start with your current life. What do people come to you for advice on? What currently gets you jazzed or riled up. What did you do for a living? All can be excellent starting points for building a business.

Since you say you are just looking for some extra cash, keep the fun factor in mind.

Here's a warning. You will likely be bombarded with an assortment of get-rich "systems" with big promises and small performance.

Even some of the well-meaning folks who have posted answers here seem to suffer from "Hammer Syndrome". That's where, if all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail. You need to take their suggestions with a grain of salt and look for what works for you.

All Internet businesses involve selling something.

Like doing and enjoy doing is totally different. Make a list what do you enjoy and do that online. If you enjoy it it's a hobby and you'll make money online, because you are an expert and expert advice is needed everywhere.
If it's gardening than do gardening online. Kapish?

I'm 58 and a complete technophobe.

However, I write well and I now have a solid base of ghostwriting clients. I started by running an ad here on the Warrior Forum.

As others have said, don't spend a lot of money at first. Search through the forum until you find one business model you'd like to learn about. Then read every thread about that model and ask specific questions. Follow those who've had success with that model. Sign up for their mailing lists.

Then buy a few products that teach that one method. Dive in and give it a try. You'll learn the most by doing.

I echo what John has said. You have a lot of wisdom and experience worth sharing. Think about what you've done in your life and think of ways you can share that knowledge.

What do I like to do in my spare time?
What skills do I need to develop to follow this system?

the best online business model for you is affiliate marketing, you don't need to make any product, all you have to do is drive traffic and marketing the product, the owner will pay you a % from every sale you made.

i suggest a complete education, training and affiliate program may help you, here is some basic steps for you to take to start with

1. learn the affiliate marketing system, how is it work
2. apply the knowledge, take action by smaller step
3. focus on bring quality traffic from different sources.

as i said, if you are a newbie, i recommend you need a systematic training, some companys offer very good and complete affiliate education, you could learn from A-Z.

Ron, as you now see, asking questions like this tends to bring out the self-promoters urging you to buy into whatever they're selling as the "best" way to make money. Some are more subtle than others, but they're starting to come out in force in this thread.

Here's another area where having been around the block a few times helps. You have a better chance of seperating the real apples from the "road apples."

You must know your interest first. Keep on researching on google, warrior forum and others.

Age don't matter in internet marketing. Take advice from all the people but at the end you have to decide which is best for you.
