Problems with Amazon Affiliate system

Hello,

I have one question. Have you ever had problems with Amazon affiliate network? By problems I mean, if you ever had problems receiving your checks on time.

Here is my problem:

Since January 2017, I was not able to get my payments. For first 5 checks I had changed the address two times, I thought there was a problem with local post office.

During 8 months, I was not able to receive any check from them. The support is always replying to my inquiries. They say, they are reissuing all lost checks and I get exact dates when they release the new check.

Is it something usual that happens to many users? They never gave me the Tracking Number, I don't know which postal service they use. I am not able to get information why all checks were lost. For this time, I decided to use another country and city - Switzerland is the most safe country in the world and Geneve is a solid business center. But I still didn't get my checks. And got yet another email from Amazon that if I don't receive my payment till the Setp 5, I have to contact them and they will once again reissue the check.

Actually, I don't find it normal.
Can you share your experience or how to deal with it?

Thanks

Sorry, but I don't find it normal to have so many addresses, even in different countries. Your description makes you sound like you are a scammer - changing countries, changing addresses, etc.Maybe you aren't, but it sounds sneaky.

Check issuance problems happen every once in a while but no one switches addresses and countries so easily. Maybe Amazon feels the same way and they are deliberately holding back your check while they investigate your sales?

    That's one thing to consider.

      Hey, are you OK?

Did you read what I have posted? I was asking for some advice or help and you started to blame me? Do you like your comment? I said, and I repeat for you as you were not able to open your mind and understand what I have posted.

      1. I have waited 5 months for the same address, did you get it? Then I have contacted Amazon and I got approved in order to change the address because I was not getting my check!
      2. All of addresses belong to my business partners and all of them were approved by amazon through email consultations.
      3. Instead of posting and blaming without proving something, you please at least try to post something helpful, OK? All of us sometimes we have problems and usually cool guys try to help, not blaming and accusing people.
      4. I had to change countries because all OF CHECKS HAS BEEN LOST! Do you know the meaning of this word? If there was problem with my account, during these years, Amazon would shut down the account and not resending the check each month. Hope, they have enough experience and are likely to be more professional than you The check didnt came to the address , after that I was suggested to change even the country.
      Everything clear?

I didn't accuse or blame you of anything.

I said it is not normal to change addresses so many times and even countries. How many people in this forum, for example, have a legitimate address in another country. Extremely few.

Now, you can get offended. That's fine with me. Or you can consider the fact that people that are changing addresses so often - for whatever reason - may come under suspicion by the company issuing the check.

I hope you get it resolved.

What's more, I'm getting checks from Comission Junction each month to the same address without a single problem. Take it into account as well.

So, maybe it isn't your address but some other problem. You really need to take this up with Amazon. Especially if you have been waiting almost 9 months now - that is beyond unreasonable. There is something seriously wrong somewhere.

Keep dealing with support. Ask to speak to a supervisor. Take the problem up the food chain until you can get to someone who can help you.

Sorry, but I have had email ping-pong with Amazon during these months. How do you think? A suspicious account would be considered to be reissued the check by such company? I have been working on a great website which I had to sell due to this problem. I have invested 15K on this website and no payments So, how would you fell? This was a hands-on detailed review website, I hired only pro guys, in order to create something valuable. I didn't get what I invested and I had to sell the website for 1/3 price. Please, try to understand me.

Listen, I can relate. I hope you get it resolved. But you need to look deeper than the address if you are receiving other mail there.

That's why I brought up the suspicion thing. Why would they choose not to send you money for 9 months but everybody else is getting theirs?
Why are you different? What did you do wrong in the sales process, in the application, or whatever to cause them not to pay you.

And, yes there is something wrong. Maybe it's on their end - a technical issue perhaps. Maybe it's in something you did. Does your names match? Does your addresss match your IP? Is your website legit? Do they think you had friends make those purchases just to get the commission?

They send out thousands of dollars of payments every month. Why not yours?

I didn't change address too many times as you mentioned. I was forced to to place there another country Not my choice, trust me, nobody likes to forward the payment, but he's my partner and I trust him, I had to do that. Because when you wait 5 months and you don't get anything you start to blame your country's post office. Now, even when in such country the check has been lost, the country or post office are not even related. That's the question which I myself requested Amazon to investigate personally.

Mark, they are sending the payment, what's more, all payments are marked in red, as sent they are not blocking the payment. Another problem is that, the support one time forgot to resend the payment and they said: sorry. So, I did nothing suspicious, I'm not from those who do such things because I always respect the rules.

Well, one support guy told there was a technical problem. He explained, the system was printing the address automatically and the letter count of address line is 35 char only. Mine was a bit bigger. That's why I had to use short address. But despite that, the problem still continues. I'm getting checks from CJ without problems, even years ago, I got my Google Adsense approved to the same address. And unfortunately, there are no BANK option for all countries. I told Amazon to send a check through Fedex, they said all payments are paid equially through regular way. So, that's my case. If something happens, then they have to investigate it. And not resend all time

Thank you. I will wait till Sept 5, then I will start my own investigation and use all possible tools to understand what really happens. Never have had problems with Google, LinkShare, CJ and even Ebay. But Amazon has been a nightmare for me these past 8 months. I will update this thread by 09/05/2017

      Thanks!

This is a part of the message I've got days ago: " Both checks have been mailed to the updated address on file.

It can take up to 4 weeks to receive the new checks. If you don't receive payments by September 15, 2017, please contact us again so that we may investigate further." There are two pending checks actually and the last check was re-sent weeks ago, so for the second check they say, I have to wait till 15.09. Hope, the first one arrives on 5/09.

Okay, if they are submitting the payments repeatedly, it seems there is no problem on your part.

I was just thinking out of the box and looking for possible solutions or reasons that may not be apparent.

Good luck in getting it resolved.

Thank you, Mark. I could easily share screenshots all emails proving that they are really releasing payments each month, but I think this could damage my relationship with amazon. I will update the thread for 5/09. If the problem still persists, then I will use all possible tools and connections to get the problem solved and then I can easily share all proofs and screens.

    Thanks again,
    Have a nice weekend

The statement above made me go "what"? Partner? Are the checks going to you or to a partner?

It's not that we don't believe you - it's that we can't do anything about it. We are not Amazon. I think you need to find an Amazon forum and see if others in your location have problems receiving payment.

Listen to Kay, D. Amazon issue. Even if we are Associates here and there, we cannot offer advice like Amazon can.

On a side note; I'd do my best to open a bank account and link to your Associates account. I receive direct deposits from Amazon for my Associates payments every month on time.

As I've promised, Im updating the thread now:

    1. Here is the latest mail from Amazon and according to its content I should wait for my check till September 16

What I understand from this mail is that they have no idea what to do in such cases and they don't care it has been 9 months or 19 months.

What's more, I have contacted USPS and requested ITEM Search. I don't know they will find something or not, but at least, I will know if there was some action taken.

Then, I have found the thread with the similar case but the guy was lucky enough and he solved his problem within 2-3 months. I contacted him and he shared his experience.

More update: Yesterday, to the same address I received my parcel from Israel. And past month, for the same address I received my check payment from other affiliate networks.

The Puzzle that nobody knows how to solve is here I have lost 2 checks and God knows where they are. I will have to move to USA in order to safely get my payments but I promise, as soon as I get my payments I will close amazon account forever.

Time to update the thread: First of all, I have never received any Check till now. I have requested investigation on USPS because on Amazon forums I was told they send the Checks through USPS. Attached is the first email from USPS confirming that they were not able to find anything under my name.

Second, attached is the latest email from Amazon confirming they have re-sent the checks (there are two checks actually that have been lost) on September 18, 2017. I was told to wait till Oct 16 and Today, Oct 18 I confirm that I didn't get a single paper from them.

This case requires a deeper investigation and I'm going to contact the media.

On Amazon forum I opened a thread and people told me that things like this happens but Amazon doesnt care. So, I invest my money, I work hard, I drive sales with only legit strategy and pay Google Adwords, Bing ads and look what's the result.

Or They have never been sending the payment, or the support needs to be fired immediately! Because during 10 months they were not able to investigate and solve the problem.

Who knows how many people lost their payment this way? But tell me why? Maybe I was spending my last money and now I am not able to buy an expensive medicine for my mother who has 4th stage of the cancer?

Do you think I should stop and dont fight for something that is really really mine?

    Shame on you Amazon!

And this is Amazon's fault how exactly? Did they coerce you somehow, maybe have a gun to your head? What if you spent all your money and never made a sale? Damn Amazon!

I was forced to to place there another country Not my choice, trust me, nobody likes to forward the payment, but he's my partner and I trust him, I had to do that.
    More guns to the head?

Paper checks have a number that is easily traced. If the checks were sent, what happened to them?

You're talking multiple addresses in at least two different countries and multiple re-issued checks.

    Good luck with that.

Be human, first of all! Are you a super DC comics hero that never has problems? Can you imagine how many people have lost their payments? If you read the thread more seriously you will find the very interesting detail: On the same country other checks from Amazon also has been lost. I placed an URL of that but that guy was lucky enough and was able to get his payment within two months. And he said, maybe its local post problem? If the son of your bother who is your partner is not a reliable person then to whom do you trust in your life? Your machine? Your mobile? Then what's the meaning of the word "friend"? Amazon was told about the problem, we both thought this could be a post problem and after a consultation the decision to send the check (only once!) to other country was made. Got now? Try to post something useful instead guy! Do you have an idea how many people shared this problem on Facebook? And you're the only one super hero who is talking about the GUN! Bravo! Even trump would not be able post something like this. If i do my best, then take your time to investigate and you didn't you see the UPSP letter attached? How those checks can be tracked if there no tracking number given? USPS is looking for this issue it has been more than a month!

Let's look at where we are...

    > Amazon is issuing checks. Sending them to viable addresses where you receive other mail.

    > USPS can't find a problem. Once they transfer mail to a foreign mail service, they lose most of their tracking ability.

    > Other people have reported problems with Amazon checks in your country.

My guess is that someone is diverting mail from Amazon in the hope of stealing either checks or merchandise. Unsuccessfully, at least with your checks, since Amazon keeps reissuing them rather than reporting that they have been cashed.

Have you explored the possibility of opening a mail drop account in the USA, and having them forward your mail via a more dependable service like FedEx?

I can feel the frustration coming through, but there really isn't much we can offer you as far as unraveling your problem.

Thanks for understanding. Look at this case: https://www.reinisfischer.com/havent...ontact-support

And while looking into this issue on the local post office I found many other people with the same problem. And yes, I told to Support, I'm ready to pay Fedex fee, but kindly send them via Fedex and I have got the answer: We have no Fedex option, we send to all our users the same way. That's what Im fighting for. If you are not able to deliver the payments through regular methods and the person is ready to pay all necessary fees, why you don't make an exception or investigate what really happens? I am not alone on this.

The statement above made me go "what"? Partner? Are the checks going to you or to a partner?
You did not answer that question.

On the same country other checks from Amazon also has been lost.
Lost in your country - or your 'partner's' country? If checks to a particular country are being lost that could indicate a problem with the country's mail system - not necessarily with Amazon.

I realize you are frustrated - but you need to understand no one here can solve this problem for you. Clearly, something is going wrong but we can't tell you what it is.

Look Kay, thanks for taking time reading this. The only reason why I post here is to find someone else with the same problem who was able to find a solution. Nothing else, and of course to get some suggestions regarding some good international lawyers who can give consultations for further actions. I can provide all details of the case, including all emails, all legal documents from Post Offices. And the other country was a test: are they sending the payment or not. Because, let's say, if the Georgian post has problem, then it is practically incredible that Geneva's post office would have the same problem. It's worlds business center one of the safest cities in the world where every single paper is strongly controlled by the GOV. Nothing else. Again, thanks for your time and for this really frustrating and boring thread. I have already contacted some media sources and working on papers. They will perform a better investigation than me alone.

I did give you one possible solution. Open a maildrop account in the USA. A quick search will give you a lot of options. Then you set up forwarding via the courier of your choice.

    Another piece of advice, maybe.

Perhaps you could get in touch with the trade department at both your own embassy and the US consulate. Maybe they can help. Or at least offer you more suggestions.

It sounds like Amazon is trying to resolve the situation. As for the error referenced in the email you posted after this, they admitted the error. Are you saying that you've never made a mistake and had to admit it?
