Yes . . . but that doesn't mean they'll be attracted to your ad necessarily. It's totally up to you to provide a very compelling title to your offer and great value in what you're selling. If your web site does not offer great value that is easily recognized, you may not get any responses. It's all up to you!

They are spam magnets as the forum refuses to remove sigs. from that section.

I used to use them but so many spammers just post a one-liner to drop their link that you are just paying for someone else's ad.

There are no sigs displayed on all marketplace sections.

Please explain why I am seeing sig files on the bottom of posts in the threads of the Classified Ads Section, if as you say . . . "There are no sigs displayed on all marketplace sections."

What you are saying is not congruent with what I am seeing.

I just tried what may be my last attempt at a paid post. I have been gone for a few months......been pretty busy, but the last two paid listings here did pretty much nothing for me. They try to get you to pay for an even more expensive banner to promote your paid listing! lol.

If I don't see results on this last one.......it will be the last!
*I agree that your content and the way it is written and presented can make some difference.

As Steve said the offer and it being compelling will be the tell tale of whether the $20 is worth it or not. There are some Classified Warriors like Johnnleo who has really racked up the money over the years with his compelling offers.

Just going based on the Customers that have posted in that Thread including myself and also talking with him personally.

But I guess I cannot "formally" prove it.

Have a look at the types of offers there and the traffic they get e.g. a 2 week old offer. It's essentially a dump of "worthless plr bonuses if you buy through my affiliate link".

Websites used to be for sale in the Other Website Products & Services. Who knows now though.

Where would the $20 be better spent - here or Flippa?

Flippa were kind enough to refund me the listing fee when I listed last week (before creating this thread) after I told them I rushed the listing as I wasn't 100% sure if I wanted to sell it.

The problem I see with the basic listing on Flippa is that its difficult to get it infront of potential buyers until the last minute (and few others who use the search feature, but a broad term might yield huge number of pages, that I'm not sure many will bother sifting through beyond the first two or three) when it gets featured on the homepage 'listings ending soon'. By then, its too late to get people to compete.

You need a home page feature to get the best out of any listing there, but those usually cost $200 or more. Unless you are selling a site that is going to fetch $10k or more, I am not sure if its all that worthwhile.

You seem more focused on not having to pay much to offer the site for sale - than on what the value of the site is to a potential buyer. Have you determined what the site may realistically be worth (based on the current and past monthly profit)?

Put it this way there is over 1000+ people viewing the internet marketing thread every day... So, in other words the warrior forum gets some crazy traffic. So, yes classifieds are good here.

I think you would be better off purchasing a banner signature at $60 for a year and contributing good input within the threads here on warriorfoum....much better than a classified in my opinion

if you can write good copy yes, if you cannot...get someone else. It will cost you, but in the end can be good for your bottom line profits.

I agree with those that said "Try it yourself and see". $20 is not a lot of money to test something out for yourself.

Everyone has an opinion but your own numbers do not lie.

Its all about how you present your content to the users. If content is appealing then you can have good traffic coming to your posts.

Once again, it's going to depend on how compelling your offer is. There are plenty of forum members who'd say $20 is a bargain!

If you are going to use the WF Classifieds, then I think you would be better suited to optimize your post for seo and use it as a lead magnet (build a list) instead of going for direct sales.

If you are trying to sell a website, then post it here....
