Do I really need to have a landing page for the affiliate marketing?

    To make lifelong income Landing page is necessary, Building the email list is good for affiliate marketing.
    There are hundreds of affiliate marketing websites
    Clicksure
    Jvzoo
    Clickbank
    Peerfly
    maxbounty etc....
    Social Media, Facebook ads, Bing ads for the good platforms for promoting affiliate offer
    Do not except result overnight, Need hard work and work on getting traffic to the affiliate offer.

    Looking at threads you've started - what are YOU doing to learn internet marketing/affiliate marketing for yourself?

    You ask multiple questions but they are all answered in other posts here.

    No - how and where you promote is up to you. Most use landing pages now - but that can change and not everyone builds a list in that way.

    Question doesn't make sense - link for WHAT products - in what niche or field?

    Do you mean site/blog? Anywhere you can get traffic to your links withint the TOS of the affiliate program is a 'good' platform for promotion.

    How much time does it take to generate revenue through affiliate as a newbie?

    A lot - if you wait for people to provide you with all the answers. No one can answer that question - no one knows what you are capable of doing. You can start receiving payments in 2 weeks....2 months...or 2 years...or never. It all depends on what you do and what you fail to do.

    I think you would benefit from using the search function on this forum - and google - to learn the basics of affiliate marketing. There are blogs and free turorials online that start with the most basic of tactics (which seems to be where you re at the moment) and questions you are asking here have been answered in detail in other threads - search/find them and read them.

    Asking detailed questions is good - but expecting to have every answer handed to you won't work in the long term. Get started and learn as you go.

    Sounds like a broken record as I count you using "affiliate links" many times above.

    You are doing this backwards.

    Don't take this the wrong way but quite frankly no one gves a sh@t about your affiliate links.
    Start out with a problem that people are having and do a self inventory to see if you can help with that problem

    Then worry about "affiliate links" after you do this

    There is no "best" and as markets are constantly changing what converts today may not tomorrow.

    Again, there is no "best". Where you have the most success will depend on many factors like your product and target market.

    It might happen today or never. There is no standard.

    When starting an affiliate marketing you need to avoid cold selling

    You needed to build an opt in page to collect leads, and only after start selling

    so don't try to drive traffic to a landing page because you are wasting most of the traffic

    Affiliate marketing could be very profitable, but you have to find a bunch of products related to your niche, and providing unique solution to your customers

    Don't try too hard selling but keep always in mind that you are helping your customer to find the solution for the problem they feel urgent.

    See you need to start learning lead Generation, before any selling

    Do not expect results immediately but think always on the long term

    Even if you can bank some profit initially, using in the thank you page some upfront product you rely on

    Affiliate marketing is a whole science, surely is not a quick rich scheme

    The best thing you could likely do is just keep browsing (and searching) these forums. All your questions have been discussed and many more.

    Then once you learn more about the specific areas, ask more specific questions. This will help you more.
