Using .com or .net

Hi,

I have an opportunity to get a domain name similar to this....domainname.net. I can also get the same name like this...domain-name.com. Which one would be best? The one without the hyphen and a .net or the one with a hyphen and .com?

    I would choose the .net only because I personally do not like the hyphen.

    I prefer .com and without hyphen. If I were you, I would look for another available domain name.

    From a business standpoint, choosing the dot com is the best choice. Why? Because if you ever need to sell your site at any point, dot com's are ALWAYS rated at a higher value. Also, Google does not recognize the hyphen, so it will not hurt you at all. The hyphenated dot com is the way to go. Trust me.

    I would get both, use the .com as the main domain and forward the .net domain to the .com domain.

    I like .com better but because of hyphen I would either but the .net or go looking for another .com domain.

    .com all the time, I only own 4 .net domains and thats beacause I bought some already made sites from another Warrior, but otherwise .com all the time
